I get so mad when people try to make sengun out to be a bad defender. He's at worst average,i would actually say he's a good defender. He's strong, his positioning is very good, he has quick feet to guard in space and he has excellent hands to get steals and deflections. Casuals don't understand that you don't need to get 2 blocks a game to be a good defender. If jokic can't back him down in the post and embiid is shooting step back 3s against him then what else is he supposed to do. You want him to guard shifty PGs as well???

He needs to add some muscle and some extra hops, so he can defend big men better. All very doable with the proper training. That and keep working on his offensive game, because he has a ton of potential there as well.

The three shooting is great at this point, but what gets me excited for this dude is his mid range game. This coming year, the team needs to get him good looks in the mid post. He'll be special.

Hope Ime will play him on main rotation next season, there were so many games that he only played when game was out of reach or garbage time. He was only consistent scoring option we had last season and I think he has higher ceiling than Jalen.

He is already averaging 25ppg in 36min and only few teenager that able to score that high with less than 20 min per game he played. We just saw one of the best offensive rookie and you calling him ceiling at 22ppg 😂
