This is a bit confusing. The PTO clutch of the 2010 is house just forward of the PTO shaft under the rock shaft assembly. The action of moving your PTO lever forward engages and disengages the PTO clutch through a series of stacked disks. Even if there is a failure at your drive clutch PTO input shaft actuating your foot clutch should not change anything

Nice explanation. I'm trying to figure out how the dual stage clutch for a massey actually works - as both transmission and pto clutch are within the same housing in center of tractor.

Jon, You did a great job, Question, I have a 2010 with a hydraulic leak but it is leaking out of the 2 upper holes you put your fingers by at the 6:47 mark in your video. I have not split the tractor yet any ideals why fluid would be coming up and out of these holes. Thanks [email protected]

I bought a 2010 dozer that has set for 30 years and the throwout bearing linkage in behind the pressure plate is rusted bad and I can't figure out how it is suppose to work. It looks the same as your tractor. Is it hydraulic?

I hate fords too! I’ve never had one ounce of luck with them (98 4.0 explorer and 94 7.3 power stroke). I’m never buying any model ever again. I don’t understand what all the hype is about. All they ever did for me was cost me lots of money and my sanity.

Yea, my Powerstroke 7.3 only has 439k miles and the bitch is already leaking oil, whata junker. My '98 5.0 Explorer was even worse, I had to replace the damn AC compressor with barely over 100k, also a junker. Don't even get me started on my '91IDI, I've had to change the damn oil and now flushing/replacing the coolant. I was considering doing the thermostat if it was easy, but no.
