The asterisk belongs next to every PASTIES game. How many blown calls, how many spygate victories, how many snowplow games, etc. And a double asterisk for the games won without cheating. No worries, there aren't any without cheating.

@winalldayeveryday

Michael Daly baseless? Rodgers is a prolific passer, and truly is a surgeon on the field. However, he never has had the "gun-slinger" mentality. Meaning, i don't see Aaron ever firing up a 55 yard bomb on the opening play in overtime in a rather hostile environemnt (Monday night football in Denver) to a reciever that's pretty well covered down field. That's what separated Favre from just about every other qb in nfl history...he either won the game or lost it, putting it all on the line. If you take offense to that comment then you're just misinformed.
@michaeldaly6707
9 жыл бұрын
No, I'm not misinformed. You're speaking fanspeak that has no basis in reality. Take a look at the divisional game against Dallas. Rewatch the last touchdown pass to Richard Rodgers and then tell me that 12 "doesn't take chances." There is one difference between Rodgers and Favre; Rodgers is more accurate. "Gunslinger" is a nice way of saying Favre throws a shit ton of picks. There's good risk and idiotic risk, and Favre's career was marred by the latter. And by the way, Rodgers did exactly what you're referring to in an 09 playoff game at Arizona. He chucked a bomb on the first place from scrimmage, in overtime, to Greg Jennings. Use data. Not fanspeak.

Great Video of a "Great Quarterback"... Arguably "One Of The Best Ever" If not "The Best"... True He won only "One Championship"... (Can't judge The whole Career just on "Rings") But He had the Intangibles of: Toughness... Passion... Attitude... Team Spirit... Fearless Approach... He did Much more with lesser talent... Made everyone around him much better... Playing to win rather than "Not to loose"... If there was an opportunity "TO WIN" He "TOOK THE CHANCE"... (Hence the INT's)... I became a "Packer" Because of You "Brett"... Love & Respect ALWAYS...

BosoxnationI972 Ahh yes, the same crying comments as every other Pats fanboy that makes excuses... "But they just weren't standing in the right place!" or "But it was legal!" (no, it wasn't legal, that's why they got caught), and "Every team was doing it!" Here are some other facts for you: 1) Patriots haven't won a SB since Spy Gate, because they can't cheat to that extent without being caught. 2) The tapes were mysteriously destroyed to protect the Patriots from showing how bad the cheating actually was. If the public had seen those tapes, everyone and their mother would cry for all 3 SB titles to be stripped from the Patriots. The NFL couldn't afford the bad publicity. 3) The Patriots continue to be involved in cheating scandals, like trying to steal playbooks, still taping in the "grey area", and getting away with it. All because New England get preferential treatment. No other team would get away with half the shit they pull. Therefore, the Patriots are CHEATERS, and everyone outside of Boston knows it.

And this...THIS is why ESPN is an absolute fraud. THESE are the sports writers for various major media papers as well as ESPN "Experts" and for them to PUBLICLY STATE that there is a double standard when comparing Barry Bonds and the Patriots accomplishments. AND THEY DON"T EVEN THINK THEY'RE WRONG ABOUT IT!!!!! It doesn't matter if you or I or these "experts" think that cheating helped the Patriots win. THE PATRIOTS BELIEVED THAT IT HELPED THEM WIN!! That's why they kept doing it for years!!
