@@zettadollaz2448 nah u right lol. But the first part was worth noting, because if those small detail plastic parts aren’t present there may be future problems for example the small clip that hold the cable to the rad support it may hit something else and just wouldn’t be ideal.

You didnt read the manual. Youre supposed to put the gasket in a bag with a small amount of motor oil to coat it before installing it.
@DEATHWISHVQ
3 ай бұрын
I didn’t have to put the gasket drowning in a bag of oil. This gasket has compression properties, so torquing the manifold will seal with zero issues, a very fine coating of oil will only create a sticked on gasket, if we listened to the misinformation you provided us with and drowned the gasket in oil it would be even worse, why do I know? Because I did add a fine amount of oil, to the gasket, and what did it do? It got glued to the manifold and once I removed the glued gasket off the manifold it slightly tore off some material. So if you want to drown your gasket in oil and ever have to remove your manifold again, be ready to have an extra gasket because it’s going to tear. Adding oil to the gasket will do mo difference, it’s not going to leak. Save this for important things like using micrometers to measure tolerances on the crankshaft and not using caliper tools as they are not accurate.

@@DEATHWISHVQ Hmmm guess you cant read. Im not spreading “misinformation” as much as youre leaving out information that was provided in the installation manual, as I mentioned btw. The manual states to use oil. That is not a lie. If you didnt want to use oil thats fine, and all you had to stay. But dont claim I am “spreading misinformation” when youre the one conveniently leaving out printed information that I pointed out.

@@jejejoey I admit my choice of wording was off. To be clear, yes the manual may say to add a think coat of oil. But it’s not necessary, it will seal regardless. If anything it will be a headache in the future if you try to remove it, you better be prepared to have a backup one because it may stick hard since the oil will act like glue. How do I know? I did add oil once when doing a cleaning head job and it slightly ripped the gasket when separating the manifolds.

I bought a 370Z 6MT sport coupe new back in 2019 and use it as a daily driver, with no issues or problems. I had an intake, exhaust and dyno tune done to extract 321 peak rwhp. I have also shaved about 120 lbs off the car withe reductions in unsprung weight and other areas.I meticulously maintain the car and am hoping someday that somebody will want a car like this after everything goes electric.

Yo twin, you think the wiring would be the same for sedans or just straight connect it to the wires in the car?
@DEATHWISHVQ
5 ай бұрын
They should. The taillights have the main powerhouse circuit board, the board has a positive/negative on each side, so you just connect the halo wires to their designated negative/positive sides. It’s a very simple wire up really, it’s just very tedious having to drill and fish the wires.

hahah technically yes. I assume people try to separate it by “street car” hell even vinny tens VTR racing vids on their 350zs have made like 8 second passes if I’m not mistaken. But I forgot if it was 1/8 or 1/4 but they’ve made some of the fastest passes I’ve seen but since the videos are old and pixelated asf maybe people haven’t paid much attention to them.

What’s the difference between rev up and hr engines??
@DEATHWISHVQ
8 ай бұрын
I’ll list some that I know. HR head has more air flow compared to the DE, the DE/DE REVUP has an air flow of 270-280 CFM, the HR head has an air flow of 300. Of course the HR has dual intakes, hence why the HR just makes more power since it has more air flow. The DE has variable timing on the intake side, the DE REVUP has variable timing on intake & exhaust. The REVUP rpm redline is 7000, the HR is 7500 rpm. The DE rods are thinner compared to the HR rods, hence why HRs can handle over 600 wheel on stock internals, torque is what kills an engine, so in the case of a DE it will handle around 400 torque safely.
