Thanks for the tutorial, is it possible to have the drawing files or some sort of images?

That is not work cause you did not actually design and put the slider parts. You limited parts by rack and pinion that is wrong. Just is good for beginner to understand the concept. Good job

Wow! You should make more videos. So informative. Edit: Why did you choose the rack and pinion instead of the screw mate? I have had issues with the screw mate on this type of assembly though, but it didn't come to mind i could use the rack and pinion. Thanks for the info.

I found this video super helpful, so thanks a lot! Do you make more videos like this on other platforms? You're really good at explaining things. I haven't seen anything like this on your channel before, so are you a teacher or something? 😄

Nice...! I see this anomaly quite a lot on these kinds of drawings where the perspective does not seem right... at 12:20 the side furthest away (top right) seems larger than the side which is closest ... this is opposite to reality which dictates that the side furthest should appear smaller.

In Solidworks you have the option to enable perspective view which applies foreshortening to the view.

Hey there, I hope you're having a good day I wanted to ask about you made the individual components because as I'm still a beginner I am struggling at the ball screw part I also would like to ask if whether you would be comfortable sending me the Solidworks file so I can learn a thing or two and see what is being done when the components are made :) If you are fine with sending the files over, Please let me know...I shall drop in my email id

Do you have a tutorial for fixing the stepper motor to this slider?? Great content, thanks 👍
@crystalliu3194
3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment! No I don't have a tutorial for fixing the motor - but it would be quite simple: coincident mate the motor face to the end bracket, locate using concentric mate through the screw holes (and add the screws), then use concentric mate _without_ locking to assemble the motor shaft to the coupler.
@AdamEwart

@@crystalliu3194 ok. It's more about the appropriate bracket to suit this particular table, as I can't seem to find one with suitable holes or slots that would align with the holes drilled and tapped into the end plates. I shall keep looking! 😁👍
