My 2017 540i has the same problem. I can't see how to access the steering column and don't want to just start yanking on trim pieces to see if they come off. If anyone can show or explain how to do this I'd appreciate it.

My bmw steering idk what's wrong with it e60 with active steering that came back from the garage and its heavy now idk if the rack is bad or the pump anyway I could identify the cause ?

I would first start and check the power steering module if it went out.

I have fuckin BMW, I love it, but hey that is such crap of car, previously I had Alfa 159 and had no problems. Cant believe how many issues . Obviously Mercedes is next choice.

Yes , as your BMW ages it starts to break down and you as the owner definitely need to maintain it and keep things up to date 👍

👍👍👍Your film did help me to solve the ANNOYING noise on my 2018 G32. No screw driver is needed to open the cover, and then WD40 on the right spots.

I still.get it like 40 or below mostly goes away as soon as car warmed up but I will look into that i.had to fix other problems that came my way

@@raymondchen6720 I only had to remove the plastic covering right under my knees. It's just a couple of screws. I might be able to make a video whenever I will have some free time. Later on
