love the longer form content! your vibe is just so calm despite the mild not-existential crises, and your struggles are so relatable (being similar ages). would love to see more videos like these

I am so happy for you making this decision. Looking back on my New York days, it was great fun for a time, but it felt like there was no moving forward. Also, woman are treated like low hanging fruit in New York. I met way too many woman in their late thirties who were doing the same things that they did in their twenties waiting for their real life to begin. You will have a more grown up and productive life elsewhere. It is best to leave in your twenties. I am glad that I did.

I really appreciated your video, and transparency. I don’t know if it’s because I’m from New York, but isn’t LA far more superficial than New York? Or have you found that like New York there are pockets of different people? I’m just asking because I’ve heard LA is so about your followers on social media.

Two people I know moved to LA and moved back saying it was the most superficial place to ever be and they hated it. They both were in the entertainment industry so they thought they would be able to handle it. One of my friend (she sadly passed away last month in her late twenties) told me it was the most depressing times of her life. Maybe other people will have a better experience there but if people are thinking of forming genuine connections then maybe LA isn’t it and to go elsewhere?

I feel this so so much even as someone who lives in Atlanta. Often times I find myself *wishing* I lived in NY and being jealous of how busy everyone is in the city but then I remind myself that I’m actually not the kind of person that would actually enjoy that environment, especially as someone who loves staying home, working out, eating healthy and going on hikes whenever possible. I’m so excited for you to move to LA and feel like it’s going to be so perfect for you! 💓

While both places are fantastic and unique, I personally do prefer New York. I've lived here in Brooklyn for 2 and half years and in Southern California for one year. I guess part of my preference really comes down to the fact that I'm an 'east coast' person I guess lol but everyone is different :) while California is naturally more beautiful and has access to ocean and mountains, it was only fun for first few months - ocean is too cold to swim in but if you're surfer it's a place to be. I did love good Mexican food and weather was always amazing. Sunsets are beautiful. Except for May, June and July most days are with gray skies. In NY is so easy to get anywhere, and everything is 'around the corner. While in California, things are spread out. And you do need a car.

Most of women’s standards are all physical attributes. Ask a woman what she wants in a man, and the first things out of her mouth will be height, earning potential, education level, physique. Personality and treating her right will be all the way at the bottom of the list if it is mentioned at all. This is why you see plenty of women staying in relationships with toxic men who don’t treat them right, but they look good, are charismatic, and earn a lot of money. They prioritized physical attributes over everything else.

As a man this seems completely opposite from my experience. When I show less interest in women they get way more attracted to me. When I show genuine interest it seems like they get less attracted. Can you explain this?
@juliagmonty
Жыл бұрын
this is super common at a young age! clear, consistent communication can feel scary when you're not ready for a relationship. avoidant guys (who show less interest) are safer because we know nothing will happen / the chase is fun and interesting. but that chase game gets boring! women who are healthy and ready for relationships will appreciate clear interest ❤️ (all in my experience!)

Maybe you don’t know the right women then. No one I know talks about Icks. And it’s important to know ur worth and what you want from a man in the beginning. My friends want a man who can provide and be a strong leader and father. That’s not asking for too much and I’d say it’s a very important want. Get urself new friends
@littlepumpkinseed

Yeah I find the ick trend quite unpleasant. I think everyone benefits form time alone so you get to know what you need and want in life. Then find someone who naturally fits in your lifestyle. If a person has alot of icks you will find a man who has alot of icks. And people change. Your relationship could be the right one in your teens but not for later and that is oké.

If only it were that easy. I am past ready to call it quits with my guy. I am sick of being with somebody who I feel like couldn't give 2 shits about me and I have no idea why he's here. I say it over and over and nothing changes and I get zero answers, he just acts like I'm not even talking or says "okay". Its frustrating AF. I'd rather be alone
