I own a 2012 v6 Club of America Edition. I love the way it looks and things I have added to it. I am not bothered at all that it is not a v8 because I am not a racer and the 305 HP with extras (making about 330 HP) is fine with me. But I love the look and the interior. I have black double stripes coming down the middle of the top.

The world’s ugliest and slowest production mustang in history. Even ford cringed at this one. This is the can’t afford anything else mustang. 30K and it might be as fast as a stock S650 MAYBE before it blows up. Anyone running to defend just simply can’t do better. Just save and you’ll get there. Good luck to all the poor souls driving these fart wagons.

Mustang is automotive royalty. Period!! Just because they are affordable on jest.. dosent mean there are any generations of mustang that isnt worthy of proud ownership. A few decades back, it was common to hear people bashing mustangs. To put the marque and its owners on down low. And for these same people to praise rhe cars they loved. Mustang was made the butt of their jokes. But something happened, these so-called self proclaimed car heads didnt know mustangs legacy nor Fords. The Ford flipped the script on the industry first with the Boss 302 then the laguna seca. Then came the Shelbys first those that paid tribute to the man himself and the era of muscle cars, but people still saw the inherent weekneds off that muscle car era straight line rockets often alot on noise and little in the numbers to back it all up. Getting the power to the wheels and take a play out of Saleens time honored book of bringing track racing dna to street going mustangs. Fords new next generation Shelby's would be far removed from their first attempt. And we all know how the story goes. And all those nay sayers whos favorite marques had long fell out of production were ironically now lining up with their checkbooks open in hopes of getteing a shelby mustand. All the while the normak mustangs also vastly improved. Mustangs have always been measured by thier owners. If your trash then so your car will reflect you! But if you treat a mustang as a person would thier Ferrari then you see s totally different car before you. Measured by the quality of its owner. And thats been the key unique thing about mustangs the have soul. More soul than most cars on the market. Any model of mustang can be elevated to near supercar exotic status. Of any and all cars of its price point you would see in an exotic car collectors list of cars you will certainly see a mustang in the midst. Because its a mans car, a true auto afficionato's car. Its weaknesses is its stregnths. Its a reminder of himble beginnings that can be elevated to greatness. There is no mustang not worthy of ownership. And it only takes learning about their legacy on and off the tract and against supposedly greater competition to understand why. and oh yeah.. about the competition?.. where are they now? Exactly!!

The block isn't limited to that power level it's the rods. Forged rods and pistons it can make 1000 just like the older 4v it was the same thing with them people don't realize they think the engine itself is limited to a certain number (especially with the older 4v pre coyote and non terminator or gt500) but that isn't the case at all. Even the 3v is only limited to 450 tq (they can go over 500 rwhp safely with the right combo) because of the rods. You can do drop in boss rods or just swap a gen 2 short block which is the same thing basically. Also at that power level you need a tire on that thing. If you want to actually get on it and use that power that is. Them low profile 19 or 20 inch street tires aren't gonna cut it. Even drag radials in those sizes aren't optimal you need a 15 on the rear. I have an 07 gt500 with gen3r swap and it put down 740/733 to the tires (it's a torque monster) I can hook 2nd gear with new 325/50/15 et street r pretty damn good on the street without a warmup and I have 4.10 gears (the tr6060 is geared long though I can reach 133 mph at the top of 4th with a 28.3 inch tall drag radial) Definately do NOT run street tires. If you want something that will stick that is handling oriented the r888r is the go to tire. Won't hook like the MTs but they're light years ahead of street tires and they're made for handling so you can run that tire all around (they are NOT a drag radial I see guys running them only in the rear as if they are and im like Smh)

Issue with that is I’ve heard that if you do that the motor moves a bit slower and doesn’t get up and go like a “stock rods and pistons” would.

@@Mikeisdelicious technically it’s true, but it’s negligible. It’s like someone gaining 4hp on the dyno and then claiming they can feel more power in the car. It will be heavier material in the rotating assembly depending what your builder chooses for parts, but I guarantee you CANNOT tell the difference in Rpm afterwards. Consult with various major tuners, COYOTE engine builders only, and shops that build late model fords. They will agree
