great video! Going to Moalboal now soon. Are you freediving from the shore? Or boat?

alright ) that makes the shot look so much better. incomparable to my shaky videos. you probably are good at freediving to hold breath longer and stay calm ;)

Hi Rico! Footage is fantastic! Surprised that Gopro 3 did so well! Filming is great - no shake, so smooth... I'm not a pro freediver :) How do you think - is freediving enough to see the sardines run? or better to go dive? Is the "sardine spot" far away from the shore/beach ? Thanks!
@ricodiaz85

Thanks! Freediving is definitely enough to see the sardine run, it might even be better in fact since you'll be able to get closer. In some of the shots, i think you'll see that the sardines are afraid of the scuba bubbles and will avoid it:)

Hey Rico thanks for response! :) I've been to Moalboal this month and yes - it was pretty easy to spot them without any diving gear. actually, divers that are on some 10 meters depth actually push the fish up towards surface , so its even easier. Unfortunately, that day was rainy and sea was not calm. visibility suffered.

Thanks bro! Most of the footage was from 15ft-40ft. 4:10 was 60 feet and 2:08 went to 70+ :) Yep, she does hands free. I don't have her gifted Eustachian tubes though so Frenzel equalization for me:p
