I can still remember about 27years ago when they started appearing on retail list and they sold for around £400 each!!! And red tail cats at the time retailed around £80 each at 2 inch (5cm) size ah the good old days!! Lol if someone off loaded a monster fish at the local aquatic centre they would probably let you have it for £20 if you could prove you had appropriate home for it!!!

Can someone pls help me i just recently got a pleco for my goldfish pond and do I feed it or does it just eat algae?
@ThatShrimpDude
3 ай бұрын
honestly really depends on the pleco, some only eat meat, some eat mostly veggies (like algae), some even NEED wood so that they can use it for digestion. If it's a common pleco it should eat algae if there is enough of it but definitely buy some algae wafers or just blanch (boil) some veggies like broccoli and he should be happy. Again though, really depends on what kind of pleco and how big of a tank/algae you got

no such thing as too big of a filter, bigger is better in the aquarium hobby

@@Devinator6205this is probably a late reply but if possible you could put a nylon hose or a aquarium spong over the holes. They eat just about anything so either regular fish food crushed up, or green water.
