I would find myself a Mopar C-Body, take it to a show, and stand out above all the rest. I like having something different; I'd take this one over a '68 Charger any day. You see '68-'70 Chargers everywhere; it seems as if everyone has one. That Polara is sweet! Yes it is!!!

What ever happened to this car? No follow up video? Big old girl's begging for a 440. Maybe pull a motorhome lump and do a rebuild with high compression pistons and some good heads?

My dad had one exactly like it. Overheated 2 years (in 1973) later on a trip. The radiator had to be removed every 2 years and flushed and cleaned. Starter went bad frequently. Left side motor mount broke at least twice. Drive shaft universal joint broke at least twice. Other than that, it was an awesome car. I learned how to drive in it. It was a Beast of a car. I wish I could drive one again. Not exactly a collectors car, most were junked or used in derby's.

Damn! Cant believe it runs that decent after 30+ years. Not sure what your plans are for the car but if its to go original then you got a good car, just needs some paint, maybe freshin up the interior and then maybe overhaul the engine and get her cleaned up

Still have my '87 from high school. Sadly, it has set for multiple years. After watching this, Hopefully I can use some of your tricks to wake the old boy up. Question: How did you drain the gas tank?

A MCSS! Great news, looking forward to this save and hoping there is more (discovered this 2 years after). Loving how the car came with a box of shop rags (some assembly required) and some sustenance (only slightly expired). Thinking I should sub.

Put a grease nipple in the oil port and use a grease gun to pump the piston out, works every time without the hammering and firing the piston across the garage.

Good afternoon Mr.Sled, this is Mopar Nate from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, your videos are outstandingly cool, I see you like the Mopar Fuselage C-bodies!!! I have a '72 Plymouth Fury III unmarked cop car clone, it's a 400 with a torker 383 manifold with afb carter carburetor, 2.5 exhaust with Flowmasters, and cop car wheels!!! I like the car you're driving, is that a 440 with a Thermoquad, it sure as hell sounds like it!!! Nice Ride!!! Mopar Nate

440 with an AVS. If you go back a couple of vids I briefly do a side by side with a Holley I used to see if it would run. I appreciate the views! Thanks!
