Hello everyone! In this channel, we talk about music, specifically rock music and rock musicians, the legends of rock, anecdotes, and curiosities about this musical genre, which is also a lifestyle!
When the Beatles music was digitally remastered and released a few years back I was blown away by Paul's bass. Before John Entwistle came along, Paul may have been the best

I don't doubt he's a good bass player. He's a great bass player right handed. The first and original Paul was exceptional as a left-handed bass player. Never looks at his fretboard unlike the newer Paul

It was David Lee Roth that couldn't express what he wanted to do and the reason he left. Its a tough one, the band's name was 'Van Halen' and the lead singer usually has a large roll in steering a band so these two things were bound to clash.

There's a lot more to that list. I can think of two right off the top of my head a world without Love by Peter and Gordon and bad to me by Billy j Kramer and The Dakotas

This is so true. You don't think of them as musicians because they're lyrics and personalities transcended all of the details.

Dude wrote the best music that we've had in the last 50 years. No need to do anything different than what he was already doing. And he was literally the biggest influence to generations of guitar players. I have yet to hear a keyboard player say that he picked up playing keys due to EVH.

A lot of bands have a lot of incredibly technically proficient musicians. The Beatles, and bands that followed in their footsteps such as Green Day and the like, have decent musicians that know how to play to the strengths of a song better than the rest ❤

To write what he wrote, you need to have a very good ear. I don't think most people realize that. I think I realized his bass playing talent when I heard 'old brown shoe'. I was amazed that it was the fastest bass line I ever heard.
