Glaze dust is very dangerous for The lungs. Therefore ı think it is a very bad idea to brush excess Glaze with a dry brushing. Use wet sponge instead.. Silica dust creates deadly lung disease after a couple of years.

Very concise direction,...thank you! Questions: Are you using commercial tiles? The grid texture on the back makes me think they were purchased. My other thought was about the necessity of using "lung" protection (respirator) for the glaze dust.

I have made all the videos photos for section 4 on the Majolica Method but just have not had time to put them together and there is so many I might make it into to two videos. If you are interested in learning more about this method go into my free wed Ceramic Dictionary. ceramicdictionary.com/en/ It goes through the whole process and all the sections are linked so you do not get lost; this is the first. ceramicdictionary.com/en/b/56/bisque-1-clay-after-first-firing I am writing a book on this method and I hope to publish it this year. Please if you need more information just send me an email through the dictionary. Regards, Susan
