For me, she was INSTANTLY believable. The words that come out of her mouth, she FEELS them. Their new lyrics, the old ones... thats the test. It's not just a good scream or good harmonies... ALTHOUGH the second part for me was how she sounds blending with Mike. Beautiful harmonies. I watched that live on repeat... and yes, those drums just DRIVE that thing, perfect kick and snare just BOUNCES .. and the is mix incredible as well if you listen to the whole show. The first few songs from this to closer to the edge is PERFECTION in tone and energy. Mike is so freaking happy as well for this music to live and breathe again. It will inspire new generations to pick up instruments, it will help to heal... thank you for this.

I don’t see this being discussed, but other than everything you mentioned which I 100% agree with, I love how good the harmonies sound between Mike and Emily too. Like their voices really sound amazing together, I love it so much! And I love this song, I love how the band sounds all together now, as a unit. I’m so ready for this new era! And I’m sure if Chester was here he’d love it too. He was such a welcoming and loving guy, I cannot imagine him being mad about this. As for the reactions, I think people just need time to digest the change, then they’ll probably come around. Or not, either is fine. If they can’t get past the lack of Chester’s voice there’s a past discography right there. But what I can say is Linkin Park are doing absolutely everything right.

"If I was at this show, I'd be all in." As someone who had the immense privilege of being there, I can tell you: the crowd was all in. And a week later at the Kia Forum, she was even better. I am elated that they're back, and they sound as "Linkin Park" as ever.

There is more goddanged brass in the Baritone Sax than in the Trumpet. They fully justify the name Brasscore.

Pausing is completely fine, (and recommended) assuming you rewind it a bit before you press play again. (which you do) Waiting til the end is only a good idea if you listen through the song twice, once in complete silence, then the second time to point out everything you noticed. The worst thing you can do is talk over the music, without pausing. So as long as you don't do that, you are fine. :)

Thanks for giving Collin some love. All the focus is on Emily (whom I've enjoyed since Weatherman came out back in 2012), and so many folks are ignoring the other new member. Emily fits the band perfectly. yes.

Those of us who are older may not think the lyrics are unique (which I don't care about). But most people born after 2000 don't usually hear ballads like this. It was refreshing and genuine in sentiment. I could actually picture Bruno saying these words to his longtime girlfriend (13 years and counting), Jessica Caban.

How music should be written imo. Bruno created the skeleton, Gaga added the meat, and 2 or 3 producers put the makeup on. Perfect pop track not created by 15 song credits.

I need Bruno and Gaga to do an album collaboration together. Seriously. There’s substance and art in their music that we no longer have today. He learned musicality and showmanship from his talented family and she was formally trained and grew up in New York. They both bring something I miss so much in music.

Hey David! I love your reactions, been following your channel for a long time! And I'm very curious what would you think about one artist named Taras Stanin, he's blowing up this year and he's making an amazing music with beatboxing, I think you'll love that! All musicians are in shock after listening to him. He's also doing it all live easily! Thank you in advance, hope you'll give him a listen at least. Have a great day!
