Nice, simple demo. Flawless setup; it is KEF after all. Thanks. Ignore those like "better than KEF" experts.

but this is worth around £3.5k, it should sound better than a sound bar. Pretty silly comparison, its like comparing a Ferrari to a Fiat

I am also considering buying this subwoofer, but I have read from many people in forums that it often has problems going into standby. if there's a lot of talking in the movie or music, it just goes off. it only comes on again in the event of an explosion. is that correct ?

I just bought sl50 w2, and.. a new tablet just to be able to run them, went with the Galaxy tab A7 lite, since my wallet is rather empty, looking at you kef minus 3000 euros. havent gotten the speakers yet but... when installing the app via store, there is this little tiny message right under it claiming " this app may not work on you device" .. well thats ashame, really, so were is the gud o'l system requirements for it? so i i can buy an tablet that will run silky smooth with 0 bugs an crashes. ??? what R others experience with this? does the app run smooth regardless of the message? on my brothers old potato, there is no message. pls share all your tablets you use that work wonders with the KEF Connect app . skip the expensive apple ones. i went for speakers, not apples.

Buy the Kef S2 stands fill them with sand and lead shots , add Accoustic Gaias to the spike feet, place the spkrs a foot or more from the wall. Place them at least 2M apart to get proper stereo imaging. Treat your room with diffusers , the echo is strong. Put a rug in front of the listening position. I have the metas with a Klipschsub , they shud sound much better.

I like portable subs. And need them. so. When you let it fall camera shake too hard. It’s heavy indeed. I’m considering. This sub but what would be the best portable sub available? I have the micro3000 from svs. Any other?

The real problem with the KC62 is that it turns off at low volumes. It's a very annoying problem. We don't always feel like listening at very high volumes and, on the other hand, in certain situations we can't. Many people complain about this problem, but KEF doesn't seem to be able to solve this serious problem. I have already sent the KC62 self to my seller, who has already contacted KEF, but so far, after more than 2 months nothing. I connected KC62 with my LS50W II, in manual or LFE mode, but the problem persists, What should be a good set is compromised by the KC62 problem. Unacceptable!

You should alternate between sub off and sub on, on the same song right beside the other one, otherwise it is too hard to remember what it sounded like with so many songs between them.

So you've had this a while now any feeback/thoughts on impressions during homne theater applications. I'm considering teh KC62 for both audi and theater applications. My biggest concern with the KC62 is SPL capbilities of this little beast at immersive theater levels. ...have zero concerns for audio only applications.

You'll never get good sound from such an acoustically bright room. You have to physically soften the echo of the room. No degree of electronics can compensate for that.

Speakers placed in a room with ceramic tiled walls and a hard reflective floor. What’s next, A German bath? The mic on top of your camera shows exactly what the room is like when speaking to it. This is pretty sadistic towards the speakers don’t you think?
@peymey

Room needs acoustic treatment, it's very harsh and reflective, you will struggle to get the best out of this setup without any acoustic treatment!
hey brother, could you upload some other demo video but with music without copyright? I recommend you look for NCS and you will see many electro house without copyright

I have a similar set up with Kef LS50 metas and the LC62. Depending on the music, the KC62 makes a huge difference or a subtle difference. . When placed and set up correctly, you can’t tell where it is. Overall I love the sound from the system now. That said, for the same $ you can get some good towers which may be a better solution for some people.

Nice little video... but there’s more to bass than adding a sub. The room sounds a bit hollow, to many hard surfaces and not enough soft furnishings and you should get proper speaker stands and fill them. Also have you set up the KEF app regarding how close the speakers are to the wall?
