Joe literally isnt a chef. He just owns vineyards. Hes a prick with an over inflated ego who doesnt even know how to properly cook and doesn't even own his own restaurants.

It's pretty common for Americans to handle a lot of sweetness due to the fact that so many products contain excess sugar because they sell better

Good for him for being a man about it. You’re allowed to disagree, and the judge was absolutely putting words in his mouth.

Just goes to show how much sugar we as Americans consume without a second thought to the point we barely notice the sweetness anymore, it really is sad to think about

Why was the bald dude such an ass? Like, yeah, the show is about cooking properly and im sure that going home means something in some way. But like, the guy didnt agree. He liked how his cake tasted, he explained that and he wanted feedback in order to do better next time. Bakd dude came in like "look, if you think Gordon is an absolute imbecile who cant cook just say so.' Like damn bro, chill, take a step back

I would love to be on the show to have the opportunity to put Joe in his place. It took me a couple of seasons to realise who he was and why he's on the show. He's Lydia's son, and nothing more. Lydia Bastionic, and i can't believe this arrogant asshole is her son. Everything was frowned upon at one time or another. All the judges need to remember that when they start bashing people. You tell children what they should like and not like. My fat ass likes frosting/icing too, that's why i always get a corner piece if it's a sheet cake and other cakes, i try to eat the cake part 1st and save the frosting for last. Screw joe......

He was absolutely right to say “don’t put words in my mouth”. He didn’t say that and Joe was out of line to try to attribute those words to him. Shame to Joe, respect to Cutter.

He said he disagreed that the cake was too sweet. He didn't insult anyone, he just stated his opinion. The word 'TOO' is a subjective word, which means it refers to an opinion, not a fact. The guy even said "we just have different palates", which is objective, NOT SUBjective like stating something is "too sweet". That pompous bald asshole chef has a superiority complex and thinks he is better than everyone else and NOT just cooking. He may be a great chef, but he's a dick as a human being.

I think it’s just the culture difference. American love their desert sweet. I’m sure the cake he baked is no more sweeter than most cakes you see in American grocery stores. But that might just be overly sweet for British. I personally do not like American dessert because of the level of sweetness. But I agree with what this guy said, everyone has different pallets. I don’t think he’s arrogant or delusional. I think the show is very condescending and disrespectful to the contenders. You can be a good chef or a powerful show host, but a dickhead is always a dickhead.
