I can't use my dreamcast because of the pin issue. The system resets. Bending the pins inside the console was a temp fix. It reminded me of the original psx (1994 1995 ps1) where you had to turn the console upside down to work after many years of use

>replacing the cooler fan smh The sound of a jet turbine revving up in the middle of your living room is like THE essential experience of being a Dreamcast owner. 😀

Dreamcast was totally interesting back in 99 I was zapping on the clever America Online lol. I never owned a Dreamcast but my bro and dad and myself loved playing Sonic Adventure kisoks at Fry's and Walmart.

Depends on what title you're looking to get and where you are. The Dreamcast Junkyard is a site that is regularly updated, so start browsing there.

I was never a fan of Sega and never had a Dreamcast. Still a very interesting video to watch. I love that old dial up sound though, brings back memories.

Well, you should have tried it back then. Nothing got even close, until the ps2 arrived, over 1 year later

I'm curious which X360 games had better framerates in standard definition. A lot of the time, the image was just downscaled so there were no fps benefits. But sometimes there were. E.g. the framerate in Tomb Raider Legend and Quake 4 is a lot more stable in 480p.

4:32 Ah, Nuts & Bolts was innovative in more ways than I thought! It even introduced overly small text to console gaming! :P But seriously, though - game developers really should test if their game's text is legible on a far-away TV screen. And not just on their computer monitors.

The other comments already say how I feel about the webcam mic quality so I’ll say this instead: You seem passionate about the subject and I think that it comes through in your voice. I’ve watched many videos where the voice behind the camera was monotone and basically reading from a list. If you are able to find a better mic to record with and keep talking about subjects you are passionate about I’m sure you will be able to grow your channel!

It's so funny because I was literally talking about how the 360 handled 4:3 a few minutes ago and this video popped up on my home page! Even if I know it's not gonna happen, I really do wish developers went back to supporting this aspect ratio, especially since it's been slowly picking up traction again in the past few years.

Your live action segments need better audio quality consider recording with a clip-on mic or mic stand rather than camera mic.

I had my xbox 360 hooked up to my 27 inch CRT for a couple years before I got a widescreen flat panel. Halo 3 and Call of Duty 2 and others were great in 4:3. this brought back some memories.

lol when I was in highschool i 'acquired' a 360 and played halo reach and black ops on a old ass 4:3 box tv i found on the side of the road, whenever i think of '360 days' my mind corrects gameplay to square screen instead of widescreen like a lot of ppl had. i got money now but i kind of miss the simplicity of those days not gonna lie

Badass video man, I understand the mic dying isn't ideal, but it does radiate 2006 youtuber energy

I hate that some people expect people to have essentially studio microphones (when they are very costly) and complain when theres static or not a “good mic” and disregard the quality of content because the quality of the mic. Fantastic video!
