This some cool stuff man!, Now I'm on the fence on whether to start Investing my time into learning C4D or Blender, can you help me out? I've been watching Both Communities from the past 3 days and here's what i noticed: - I've seen so many Smooth animation Made in C4D, While there many more made in Blender most of them doesn't look as good, especially when it involve Simulations and Particles - I've also seen other people progress with both Softwares and from what I've seen many took Months if not years Mastering blender to create some cool Renders/Animation, While people who start using C4D took much less time and Effort to learn and create Similar Results. - C4D got a Far Thinner community, making me wonder How ppl could learn the software Faster than Blender with their Towering communities and countless Course/Tutorials content. So again i can't made up which Software i should start to invest in learning, so could you perhaps help me out with my indecisiveness? Maybe listing some short pros and cons?

@@kraney195 I’ll go for blender if I were to start all over again. Blender will continue to improve faster than C4D. Blender is free. Blender’s native render is already looking very good. Learn to use nodes since you haven started deep learning yet. Becos ultimately if you were to ask me to learn which software I would tell you go for houdini. C4D is good for quick results imo. I personally don’t use blender I can’t comment on it. But I do see blender being a very powerful software and it is very easy to find tutorial about it. End of the day you won’t be just using one software.

@@louisseet Thanks a lot for the Advice man! Though i have one last Question if you don't mind. What part of the Industry are you in? I'm Planning to get into Product Animation for Commercials and I've already finished the C4D Introduction course by Andy Needham on Linkedin, But the Thing is, Now I don't know where to go when i want to dive into this Specialized topic of Product animation, there's Barely any resources on the Subject from what i see, and the few there is are barely useful. Now I'm just doing some random particle simulation tutorial that looked cool on yt, But didn't know about how the Process works what should i do and where to start when i want to jump into this Industry using C4D. So again, Maybe you could help me out by pointing me where to go? Maybe recommend me some Guides and Resources that i could access remotely (i don't mind paying), Because compared to Blender it has a far thinner community making it difficult to find guides about certain subjects or pretty much about anything if you compare it to Blender.

@@kraney195 I am a videographer, so I mainly shoot and edit. 3D/vfx is an extra skill I want to have to add value to my video production skills. However I just change field completely, currently in finance industry, but I’ll be doing freelance video/3D works. I don’t have specific tutorials to show you. But what I can say is, don’t get too caught up in doing “something cool” from youtube. Fundamentals of the software, the logic behind each steps, and concepts of each tool is the most important. They are the root to every software you gonna learn. So that when you switch from software to software, it’ll be easier. Say for example, I wanna make plants grow out from a donut. I’ll search “growth C4D” on KZitem. Most likely the tutorials is gonna be about “fields” in C4D. From the tutorials I’ll search for another tutorial talking about custom vertex map. Or “how to use vertex map”. From there I can also further search “vertex map redshift” and so on and so forth

This is seriously impressive and very inspiring. Thanks so much for sharing and also sharing all the tutorials that got you to this skillset! I don't understand your comment "cumulative 30 days of C4D took me one year" - were you counting the hours you spent and every twenty four hours was marked as a day? Anyway, congratulations on learning to create such cool stuff in C4D.

Hahaha I’m so sorry for my English. So during my learning journey, I, like many other learner I quit many times. So during my one year journey I broke my momentum for like 3-4 times? And months apart. So if I count the days the days that I sit down in front of my comp to look at tutorial and do, it is around 30 days ! Usually I finish watching a tutorial and doing it and rendering it, it takes me about 8 hours a day. Thank you for your kind comment tho! I am very glad I committed to learning it because I just landed my first legit 3D job I’m overjoyed even tho I underquoted it

Thanks for this! May I ask if it is easy to find the ticket office after we cleared the custom and collecting our luggage? We will arrive NRT at 6:15am but the custom only opens at 7am. And we need to rush for the NEX latest by 8:13am to Tokyo station to catch the Shinkansen at 10am! Is the NEX train platform a far walk after we exchanged the JR pass? Now I’m a little worried about the tight timing. I only found out that the custom opens at 7am :(

Hihi, I can't rmb the exact details but looking back @ our itinerary we did , (Narita Express) Narita Airport Terminal 1 Station -> Shinagawa Station then (Tokaido-Sanyo Shinkansen) Hikari Shinagawa Station -> Shin-Osaka. This is also a helpful link www.japan-guide.com/e/e2018_tokaido.html, I remember we didnt have any luggage issue from our journey to OSAKA and back to TOKYO. Hope these helps

Hello Agnes! First of all kudos and thank you for making it through the video till the very end hahah. For me I personally like quiet and scenic areas, I never liked the bustling cities life. So to me 9 days in jeju sounds okay. And for us, we travelled east, west and south of jeju, but we didn’t get to travel to the very end of each direction. So I would say 9 days in jeju is actually okay if you drive around and go to places!
