This comes off as extremely braggy douche behavior "oooo you might still find one!" .. bs show me. Point it out to me so I can buy it. The degenerate scalpers were bidding 300 the day leatherman shelved it. Now its more than 500 dollars..

If I person buys the arc for the magnacut steel I get it. If they buy it fir the full size metal file then they don’t understand magnetism.
@Kayakatools

I’ve heard that a lot but I haven’t seen someone have that problem yet. there are only two magnets, covered by plastic, I think they can just be brushed off.

5:42 Rev has better plier head, the cutters actually meet and cut wire. So imo if you see it on sale, grab one ! I switched to rev from skeletool, I feel like it's little bit tougher yet still carries well in the pocket.

@Kayakatools

I’ve heard a lot of people who own the Wingman like it. I liked its toolset and spring loaded pliers are nice. I wouldn’t personally recommend it because I felt the wire cutters and scissors were a step backwards. I did a whole video on the WM if you’re interested kzitem.info/news/bejne/pWmOp3-vhWSYnnosi=fh6Y_mj9Ed3VOKpR Yeah the Skeletool does have some compromises, the pliers are thin and the handles are only comfortable if you don’t have to really squeeze them

This is exactly the video I was looking for about a month ago. Ended up buying the skeletool, very nice piece of kit, not really the best at doing anything, but it gets the job done for what I need it for and it’s the perfect size and weight for what I wanted.

This video is about explaining Leatherman’s currently available lineup. Even though I didn’t cover retired tools you can see the Kick, fuse etc. mentioned in text at 1:05 , and the rest of the plier tools are shown in an image at the end, OHT, Crunch etc.

I use one probably once a week and is why I have to carry an Alox Victorinox along with whatever tool or knife I have. No one does the awl/reamer like they do. Leathermans are ok if your goal is to caveman your way through something soft. If you want to actually drill something then the Victorinox specifically the inline reamer only on the 93mm line is the way to go.
@MrKumbancha

i use it quite a lot, for leatherworking and for drilling stuff if you dont have power tools when you need them, that being said, i mean the victorinox one, the leatherman is not quite as useful

The skeletool has the weakest plier head. The Surge/Supertool plier head, Free, and Rebar/Signal are the strongest I believe.

The Spirit package opener does work really good but I like the Leatherman Rev/Wingman package opener the best. The new Victorinox Companion has a very good package opener as well. I open alot of plastic packaging and I like changing up my multitool carry. If my plier multitool doesn't have a package opener, I carry my Victorinox Companion. They all make it so much easier and it's both safer for you and your item inside. I used to go slower with a knife, and I never damaged or cut myself, but with these, it's so much easier. As a whole, the Spirit X is the best multitool I own. My Rebar is my most used and my Rev is my most casual carry, since it's thin, lite, and has a solid pocket clip, but the tools are not the best, besides the package opener, which should be on other tools.
