These work well as trailers for my spinners, and they’re very durable

Hey bro just a tip, whenever you go to unhook a fish let out enough slack line to fully handle the fish without putting a bend in the rod. It will remove the chance of an accident happening and your rod breaking. Also makes it much easier to unhook your catch. Nice fish though

Thank you! I usually I do but I was trying to get it out as soon as possible so the little guy could get a picture and ended up not doing in my haste.

Depends, for me I got it on sale for $6 and fish a lot so I get a lot of use. But for someone just starting and maybe just as a hobby I’d say no.

Nice catch! One thing I would suggest on a baitcaster is if you want to cast 2x as far is to turn the little wheel on the right side of your baitcaster counter clockwise a little. Also when you’re reeling in you should place your thumb over the line so you don’t have any line that gets reeled in all messed up so that when you cast it’s a smooth cast!

Thank you I’ve watched a lot of videos since this is really my first year using a bait caster and this is something I’ve seen a few times. Hopefully I’ll be able to implement it in future videos without birds nesting 😂

It’s really not that hard just think “how would someone who’s never fished before hold the rod”
