I never had to do the "outside" stuff, so now I am googling everything related to hooking up and making minor repairs. Thank you so much for showing how to connect and disconnect! I was wondering how to remove the bars.

Great video almost perfect!! Please add Bring in Awning, Close all windows and vents, Secure all times, power down everything, disconnect powers and secure power cable, turn off propane tanks, lock all hatches, then your video :). After video TEST your lights on RV for turning and breaking, then take out chucks and your ready to roll.

Always a good idea to cross the safety chains. If the trailer comes off the ball the chains have a chance to stop the trailer from hitting the ground

My PhD and MA aren't of use here! The Weight Distribution Bars at installation seemed very difficult to ease in making me think how should I remove them. Then he says to pull back the clip and the bars fall off. How in the world would I know that without this genius of a man showing me?

Who the heck puts the blocks side ways. I was taught to make it in the same direction as the truck incase the trailer slides its harder for it to come off the blocks

Everything good but on 3:50 you twisted chain ..you know why.?? .because your "hook system" should be little bit to the trailer (inch or two) ...(chain is not straight ) you can check on 6:30 how chain stay !? Ok !

Great demonstration. Thanks very much for the upload. It just seems like a pita to have to go through this procedure every time a person wants to tow their trailer. The company that (hopefully someday) comes out with a way for trailer owners to JUST have to connect the hitch to the ball, without having to do everything so well demonstrated in the video, will make a billion dollars!

hayesman76 ummmm most trailers just have a ball and a hitch all this other stuff is excessive and only needed when your load you’re carrying isn’t evenly distributed... f**k all this other fancy sway bar and blah blah blah

It is a pita, only solution is to get a bigger truck and you don't have to go through this!

Bear in mind that: 1. A weight distribution hitch does not eliminate tongue load, it just levels out the towing rig. 2. Suspension modifications are not a substitute for a weight distribution hitch, they should only be used to handle loads inside the vehicle. 3. Unless your trailer is smaller or lighter than the tow vehicle itself (e.g. if you have a standard size family car and a folding camper trailer), then a weight distribution hitch is almost mandatory.

Good job in explaining!!!!! Do you know how many links of the chain should we used? and does these bars effect backing up the trailer even if on a tight spot and even when cutting sharp is necessary?
