Back in my day (70's-80's) nobody clipped the third peg as a fall would mean no way to lower off :-) Looks like there's new rings and all.

What a video!! Amazing combination of totally pro-style climbing, great shots with well-used zooming, and musical/sound effects for a more engaging watching experience. More of these on KZitem, please...

What? No Kachoong? You obviously don't know how to climb this route. Thanks for posting this video; when I was a kid, Kachoong was was one of the hardest routes at Araps; the dream climb I could never hope to do. Now a veteran (60) 5.11a seems so simple; I'll have to tackle Kachoong next time I'm in Oz.

This brings back such fond memories! Thank you so much for posting this video! When did they add the bolt off the belay? I don't recall it being there in 2004 when I did it. I could be wrong though; it's been a minute. I seem to remember my first bit of gear was where he put his first cam; efing scary! Side story: When I was bringing my partner up off the belay on the lower wall, there happen to be another climber next to us on "Silence is golden" (24/11d). His belayer happened to have the same name as me. (Comparatively, there aren't many Cameron's in the world) This guy was screaming "CAMERON, TAKE, TAKE, TAKE" So there I was, literally pulling my partner off the wall. Poor guy, I felt so bad, he could barely take the gear out, let alone climb efficiently.

That's the best video if Kachoong that I've ever seen. I loved the silence other than the wind and the gear. I also like how you captured the whole climb, not just the roof, but the stunning wall below as well. It brings back memories (and a bit of a palm sweat).
