I am a graduate from the class of 82. I loved watching it. I remember playing duck pin bowling. Also I was in what was called Blue Birds as a child which is very similar to Girl Scout and on May Day we left bouquets of flowers on your grandparent's door step. We rang the bell and then ran and hid. They probably were given warnings and not total surprises for them and their neighbors but it was a great memory for me. I now live in NY as I have for most of my life. Can't wait to watch part 2. I am from Weatogue if you are curious.

I love this video, i grew up here in Simsbury from age 3-13, when i grow up no matter where i live i will always call Simsbury my home. When i was in middle school my friends and i would walk to the library and get ice cream at J Fosters after school, it was really fun.

Rob, just stumbled across this video. Our grandmothers were friends and neighbors at the Murphy Apartments. Brought a tear to my eye when you walked down the path to her door.

Omg!!! Yes!!! What was her name? I probably knew her as well. She had a best friend named “Bee” if I can remember? Maybe that was her? I can even remember the smells of Murphy Apartments still. Like it was yesterday. 👍🏻

Oh Rob, your video was forwarded to me by our daughter, Lisa who was baptized with Cheri at St. Mary Church at the same time as infants. Our family history goes back a long time! Thank you for this beautiful and poignant video...which I will share with any of my out-0f-town real estate clients! What a beautiful tribute to the town you grew up in...it brought tears to know how proud & blessed you all still feel to have been brought up here!

When I was a very little girl, I went with my Daddy to pick corn (for George Hall, maybe, or his brother?) in the corn field that used to be where your High School is now... a few years later, I was playing with my siblings in the gym in the evening, while my Dad cleaned up as the janitor (he was a Letter Carrier by day, out of the Simsbury Post Office.) I remember getting Popsicles from the cafeteria I lived in Tariffville, in the Wooster House. What a long time ago that was...

I am looking at the FG-60 R3 for my Top-Flite Giant P-47!!! I think it will work perfectly because of the smaller width of the cowl. Very excited about that engine too. Only with the Keleo muffler though. The engine doesn't sound right without it. Keleo makes a ring muffler for the FG-60 R3 too! They both sound very similar.
