Thank you man, saved my session. Ever tried making bushings as well? I tried it, they came out kinda scuffed but look like they work, with a mold I'm sure they would turn out even better

Why did you use superglue?

This confused me too, but It's not superglue, it's lubrication (look at the "tools used" in the description.

@@Sicko11111I think you’re talking about the washer towards the end. If so, you should be able to find them at your local hardware store

I've got a bag full of glue sticks and a pair of old skates that need an odd size pivot cup. Brilliant idea.

Nice Idea. How long do they last?

They were better than the stock cups that I had. I've got glue gun cups (different to these ones) in my skates, and after a few months they are still good. Obviously if you can getting proper ones, I'd go for them, but if you can't find ones the right size, or you need a quick fix they hold up pretty well.

@@submodifySK8 Thx for the reply. I bought a used Penny board yesterday. Just for going to the train station etc. sadly the pivot cups were destroyed. Not easy to find fitting ones in good quality here in switzerland/germany. Mostly available cups are too big for the penny truck. So i tried hot glue. On a 15 minute ride it held up pretty good today. since i am 120 kg i guess they won't hold up that long :D. But hey... hot glue is cheap and it is easy to apply. Maybe in the futer i find some good quality small cups.

@@alias_not_needed I too found a used Penny, completely cleaned the bearing and re-lubed them... reassembled... THEN noticed the front pivot cup was missing. I only paid 7 for the board and don't wanna pay 14 after shipping for a new set of penny-sized ones. HOT GLUE TIME

That looks like an actual product. Are you a machinist with 3D printer? Infinitely sleeker than the janky heat molded PVC piping I was devising.

They're made from HDPE sheet, and cut and bent to shape, not 3D printed. No real specialist tools/machinery used. I've got a few build pics here if you're interested... instagram.com/roller.reboot/

@@submodifySK8 That is truly wicked! Very nice work. How has testing been going? Only comment would be putting in bevels on the sides for more locked in feel.
