Thanks, Mark, for the kind words. I can't fly solo anymore, but I did get up in a glider once again this year, as I do every year, and had a nice trip out over the glaciers… As a passenger in the backseat, of course.

Really fantastic. I am paragliding and climbing myself as well. I have also travelled Tadjikistan. But would not dare to do this. You are right Tadjiks are very friendly but distances are huge between villages. If something goes wrong there is no cellphone reception. Thermals are extremely strong. And on top of that you had almost no experience and probably also did not speak russian. Certainly a high risk undertaking…

I feel like that was a trailer for one of the most amazing adventure docs ever made. Surely there is enough footage for a more immersive story here??

This might be a dumb question: Why did you have to climb up at that exact spot? Was going around not an option?

Hi, I've injoyed watching your adventure. As others mentioned before, i'd wish you'd fly more in that trip. One question please, where can i find a helmet like the white one? I searched and searched and nothing. Thank you and keep up the good work!

GOD I HATE THAT ...old pilots bold pilots...saying. I know plenty who are/were both. "You Don't know what you don't know...", "Rather be on the ground wishing I was flying, than flying wishing I was on the ground..." All cliches of the ne'er do wellers. Just stay on the couch. Cool story BTW, I watched the whole thing.
