It's also got the blobeye radiator on there and the wrong cap that's a 2 way valve will leak coolant when boosting

It hasn't leaked any since owning so I presume it's holding for now, but definitely something I will be changing

sick swap man im trying to do the same but im not sure is the 04 sti doorcards the only ones that are a direct swap with no modifications? Which year did you get?
@NodSpeed

I honestly wouldn't fully know, I would presume you'd be able to use any of the STI door cards with the newage Subarus, but I would 100% do a test fitment if you can before buying

Literally my dream car. Love bugs as they are but the modifications and paintwork look so good. May I ask where you recommend I pick one up (facebook, autotrader etc.) and what kind of price range is reasonable in your opinion? I'm UK based

Thank you As for where to pick one up or any Subaru for that matter, there isn't really one place that's better than the other since it's all about the owners. I found mine off of Facebook and had to travel a few hours to collect, but try and look for the ones with more history since they've probably been looked after the most and definitely bring someone whose got knowledge of cars or Subarus in general, because these things can hide rust and rot

Nice rexy!! I bought my STI Bugeye back in 2002 straight out of the showroom of a Subaru dealer. I'm happy to say I still own the Bugeye and only have 33,000km on the original clock. Its still all original, apart from Genome exhaust/catback and blowout valve.

Thanks! Woah that's pretty cool that you've managed to keep it original from purchase and have that low of mileage, definitely a keeper car.

great video! very awful process but I'd recommend going through and straightening the fins on your intercooler. Totally worth it not only for looks but also for cooling.

Thank you! Yes it is a very very awful process to get all the paint off and make it look as if it were new hahaha. I have straightened the fins out, but just didn't include that as it was done afterwards.

Awesome car!! with your intercooler piping and inlet I'd say it might be smart to get it e-tuned for reliability. Before investing money into painting things make sure you have all the maintenance done, timing belt water pump Is CRUCIAL, and look into pitch stop mount, and transmission mount, great upgrades, and they like to collapse. that wing is not common at all and I would keep it.

Thank you! Yes the AC is removed hahaha, because at some point this was on track and the owner who had it removed the AC for 'weight saving'
