Based off the distance drivers...the entire video is just: Overstable.

If you throw an 11 speed disc faster than 11 does it increase the turn numbers ?
@okdiscgolfer
16 күн бұрын
Great question! Yes, it will be “flippier” (have more turn) with a stronger arm but an 11-speed disc is rarely flippy.

I got into catch-disc/putter hybrids for approaches, because every approach is a throw-in attempt. If I miss, hey just a chance to work on big putts. There's no laying up in my game unless a lake or a cliff is behind the basket!

Love the video! But you should try planting your foot parallel to the line youre trying to hit and dont flick it on release let the power from your swing be what causes the disc to release and that alone will give you much better looks!

Is it just a design flaw or do they make those upwards wires stick up deliberately? So many times my disc has been going in and that nub gets under the lip of the disc and bounces out...very frustrating. I don't play anymore because this sport wrecked my shoulder,but I used to be a beast! 😅

Same here. Been playing for 6 months and play lots of putter only rounds. Just moved up to fairway drivers and the dx leopard and the latitude 64 river are great. Hitting 285 with those. Only 250 w the putters. Good vid. Keep up the work.

I'm like you - not new, been playing casually for a few years, but I've never developed proper form or timing. I throw nose up too often and don't usually reach 200ft but I have been getting steadily better recently. Up until last month I only had one lifetime birdie, now I've had 4 in my last 5 rounds. Two things I worked into my drive starting last month that seem to help me a lot: 1. I get my heels off the ground. Before I start my walk up I get on the balls of my feet and make sure there is air under my heels, then go into my walk up that way. 2. I begin my walk up and go into my extension with the disc vertical, after watching this from Iceberg: kzitem.info/news/bejne/2Gp-0ZdnimqCm6w. And lastly, instead of muscling it with my arm I'm trying to focus on whipping my hips around and letting that motion fling my arm. Anyway, good luck on your DG journey and your YT channel!

Been there before when you wanna just score E. But can tell you wanna bomb it consistently, so a little tidbit on your form. You sort of walk backwards? On this throw 13:07 you had great form. I'm sure you just wanna have fun, but just what I noticed.
