What a scam. I have honey-brown skin and that foundation could suit my skintone. It doesn’t even match the colour on the box it came in!!!

I think brands need to understand that when people ask for inclusivity its not about releasing every color with eight undertones but that initially, on launch, they have every overtone covered so that if i fall in between i can mix 2 shades and reach my color. If you are very pale or very dark, that wont be possible if the range is yellow to dark orange.

What I think would be a really good market would be for somebody to come out with either a lighter or a darkener so that you can add it to your favorite foundation to make it either lighter or darker. I get why companies don't make every shade because we are every shade of the rainbow, if somebody was smart and came out with a lightener and a darkener that you can mix into foundations, that right there would be a big game changer

What is up with companies editing the color on the model? It’s one thing if they label it as an olive undertone, and use a model with an olive undertone, but they’re clearly not trying to sell it to folks who it will match.

The point of foundation is to look like skin, it's primarily used to cover over any differences in pigmentation/acne/scars and create an even base for the other layers.

Hell i would’ve add a few drops of that youthforia black pigment to darken up that foundation. FYI Bobbi Brown has no affiliation with that brand

I’m Cape Verdean via my mom’s side and I heard she was part CV too. Regardless of bn part CV or not- she has done the right thing by including all ppl and including them in the proper way. I’m gonna have to check her foundation out bc even though I’m not realistically considered as a person w/deep skin tone, I am when it comes to how other people view things and I almost always have to mix 2 shades or use a blue pigment to neutralize the shade closet to me w/o having to buy 2 shades. Maybe I’ll find my perfect b4 mid spring & summer shade. I don’t bother wearing foundation in the summer bc I become a different shade w/every instance I’m outside - that’s too expensive. I do use skin tints in the summer if I use anything bc each bottle can accommodate a range of shades

Brands should be fined for discrimination when they purposely choose not sell to ppl of certain shades. I’m 46 yrs old and I just remember bn so annoyed bc ppl my shade couldn’t find their foundation in stores. I didn’t wear makeup at the time bc I was too young but it was just something that was glaringly obvious to me. And the stores that choose to carry brands that are inclusive but don’t sell deeper shades in stores should have to prove those particular shades aren’t available for reasons other than not wanting ppl of those shades in their store. I go to a particular drugstore near Greenwich CT and they tend to lack deeper shades in certain brands but they do have them in order brands. I wouldn’t assume neg Intentions are the reason and just assume it’s a supply and demand situation for this store. They also will order what you’re in need of and you’ll be charged the discounted rate.

We don't know our planet 100%, so we're still a long way from discovering all forms of life... Animal species die out regularly (it feels like every day) because of us humans... But we ABSOLUTELY want to be able to live on Mars. Cloning animals/people... etc. etc. BUT developing a make-up that offers the right option for every skin tone isn't possible? Really???

It's funny I'm biracial and very light but I have to buy 2 shades to get my tone. I'm neutral but everything seems so orange or pink. It's maddening. Although Estee lauder is very good for inclusivity.

I’m not surprised as this is coming from a brand that supports genocide.. why the heck would they care about inclusivity when they’re actively funding ethnic cleansing?

I think it can also go with very pale shades as well. I'm not pure white, but, I'm pale enough that it's extremely hard to find my shade without it being $60+ and then i can't find a lighter concealer and sometimes i can't find even a concealer in general- ( ˊᵕˋ; ) Either way. Those are 1000% not inclusive, they do need to go darker if they want to say they're inclusive.

Stop begging. You can call out but stop explaining inclusivity to people who don't care about it.
