It’s crazy and sad how Mac Dre didn’t get to live to see his Vision come true, E-40 should be thanking Mac Dre for the career revival.

Mtv needs to get their old show producers back. I miss these show type line ups. R.i.p to cable mtv if not.

I remember when this came on MTV it was big for the city, I’m from H Town originally so I knew all these guys before they were on here. I do feel as though it could have been different. Slim Thug should’ve got way more camera time. They also could’ve interviewed Lil KeKe, Hawk, Trae, Big Moe and other S.U.C members. I also noticed there wasn’t much from Rap A Lot on it, Scarface should’ve got more screen time, and the hottest Houston artist artist at the time as per sales and popularity was not even on it and thats Lil Flip. Not a bad look for the city but overall more could’ve been exposed.

Loved this era but honestly all the artists beefing and not putting the next generation on fumbled the bag and the hype for the city.. Houston could of been on top to this day
