My first car was a 73 Omega, I miss that car, I want to find another one.

Idle is too low? Timing needs adjustment and it may be down a cylinder...

I watched your video. I am also working on 1973 olds Omega with my dad. I want to put headers on it, and I know the starter is on the driver side and the gear box is don their to. How did those Sanderson headers work out? Did they bolt up well, did you have put the headers on after the motor was in? Do you have any advice about that?

You should paint it Viper Metallic Blue.

That's one bad ass Omega! Nice to see that you've put an Olds engine in an Oldsmobile and NOT a Chubby, I mean Chevy, engine in it like so many other people.

I really like the no nonsense engine compartment.

Ok so you can hear that the engine is running bad. Upon further investigation i had the wrong size guide plates and one of my push rods pop out from under the rocker and the exhaust valve of the number two piston bent. so it was running on 7 cylinders in the video as well as my other one. the car is fixed now and runs like a raped ape. i will post a new video towards the beginning of summer.

Hi there, nice to see another Omega bein' build up. You did a really nice job with the engine. I'm in The Netherlands, Europe and I also own a '73 Omega which I'm planning to build it up myself, altough it's nearly impossible to find parts here in Europe. Looking forward to see your progress. Marc.
