It is never a good idea to allow a stallion to walk behind his human on a loose line. This is how you get hurt or killed. No matter how many training sessions one has had. Some well trained stallions go years and years with no trouble, but in one second he can become distracted and aggressive.

I don' t agree. They won't notice you when you next to them and when they go you either fly or get run over or loose your hand or fingers. But you must be aware all the time of what's happening behind you, you can feel the energie.

if a horse has decent ground work they’ll walk behind you and look to you a leader. better to have more space between you than not enough..
