Are you from Australia or New Zealand? I can tell your not a Brit because you're very Australian-sounding and your Land Rover there has an Australian/New Zealander number plate on it.

I am going to the DMV tomorrow (July 8, 2014) to take a written driving test. If I get less than 8 questions wrong, that means I have passed and will come back another day to take a behind-the-wheel test. If I pass that one, I get my learner's permit. The car I will be driving til I can get my own car will be my parents' 2013 Volkswagen Passat and 1989 Ford Aerostar. The car I want for my own is a Land Rover Series/Stage 1/Defender. Since Series Land Rovers are outrageously expensive albeit rare, I'll just have to settle for a Stage 1 V-8. But the Stage 1 V-8 is the second rarest vehicle ever built by Land Rover coming after the Series 1 107-inch. So I'll just build a working replica of a Stage 1 V-8 out of an early 1980's Defender County Station Wagon or Hi-Cap pickup truck. I'll build my Stage 1 V-8 replica by replacing my Defender's windscreen, bonnet, radiator panel, side wing panels, headlight panels, doors (only if it doesn't have split doors), steering wheel, instrument panel, hand brake lever, gear shiftier, and diff lock with those of a Series 3 and Stage 1 V-8. All parts I mentioned except for the 3rd part (radiator panel) and the 11th part (diff lock) will be out of a Series 3, although the other 9 parts I mentioned are also featured on a Stage 1 V-8. Since most County Station Wagon Defenders dating from 1982 to 1985 have the same windscreen and floor petals as a Series 3, it wouldn't be necessary to replace them if my Stage 1 V-8 replica was built from a County Station Wagon Defender. Since I really like Series 3's, I'll even hang a Series 3 metal ladder grille from the Stage 1 V-8 radiator panel/full metal grille.
