Ian and mickey were best friends in real life. They loved their relationship on screen. So did i. They make a great couple. Mickey was the only one that could help him and the only one who had patents for him.

I hate what the writers did to Ian's character. Not the bo-polar storyline but turning him into a liberal activist. Ian was introduced as a patriot who loved his country. He fell in love with a Nazi but somehow they turned him into an Antifa styled activist who starts sleeping with trans men.

Oh boo hoo. Who would have thought a gay kid didn’t like homophobes. You realize people can be more than one thing? Being a patriot means you stand up when you see something happening that’s unfair. It actually shows how people get swept up into stuff like that.

@@DefendUrPolicyDontScapegoatLie I think you're missing the point. He went from a patriot to a liberal activist who was in love with a Nazi. He contradicted himself with his "stop the hate Gay Jesus" storyline

It’s so weird how the barely acknowledges that Mickey was a nazi. The most attention it’s given is when Ian leaves to join the army and Mickey says that Svetlana had him take it down.

I don’t have bipolar. But I have a depressive disorder. I swing though episodes and some can be. Horrible. It’s so hard because I see myself in him. I’ve been a danger before. I’ve been though hi highs and low lows. I’ve hurt my boyfriend and he’s still so good with my episodes

Yep. Bipolar people usually have a “special person”. I don’t know if it’s that though. It would be nice to be able to trust people. But if everything sucks then you can’t really do that anymore can you? I don’t recognise this place anymore either. Where is Vulcan? Where have everyone’s brains gone? Was everyone really that mentally weak and self-centred? Were these people always this stupid? Was I overestimating their abilities? lol life has a sense of humour dosent it? Live laugh love HA HA HA

this makes me so sad he depicted bipolar in such a good way the way he just rambled and rambled and switched from one topic to the next eventually running out of things to talk about.. he’s not present to process his emotions and he always on the move with so many plans ahhh the manic phase..

As someone who struggles with this, it was so hard to watch him spiral again and again. Not only is that something awful to have to deal with but also just watching it can be triggering
