I wonder if you could use o-rings on that barrel connecter that goes into the starlink mini to help seal it off?
@kzanderardenflaas2238

I imagine you could. Or use silicone to make a seal.

20v 4ah battery lasts about 3.5 hours.

I read that the Starlink Mini cable uses 5.5MM x 2.1MM connector, not the 5.5MM x 2.5MM that you purchased. Your center pin socket being 2.5MM may barely be making contact.

Seems like I saw something about that also. That being said, it works well and I've had no issues after about 25 hours of use.

In the Manual it says 5.5mm x 2.5mm 🤔

@@Technikfreak11 Then why does a 5.5mm x 2.1mm fit? In what universe does a 2.5mm pin fit a 2.1mm socket?
@kzanderardenflaas2238

@sportcoupe2 the pin contacts in the female side are spring tabs, so I suppose it's possible.

@@kzanderardenflaas2238 No, I have 2.1mm and 2.5mm connectors, they are not interchangeable.

Just be careful. Dewalt batteries do not have low voltage cutout in the battery.

I just picked up leather seats from an RX8 and modified the seat rails and the original brackets on passenger side. Wish I would have seen this beforehand! Did a lot of the same things you did but I don’t have the fabrication skills you have. You did a great job, sir. Wish you had more clips on the work you’ve done. I have a 91, and there are not many DIY custom videos like you have done here. Thank you for posting it.

Thanks for posting. I have the Howell Fuel Injection kit and a new rebuilt 258 to go into 1985 Jeep J10. I wrote down the information on the A-Team HEI distributor also because I have seen on other installs of the Howell install where they recommend getting the HEI for spark.
