Thank you for your in-depth analysis and research to bring us INFPs this video! This refine my conection with Aurora. I remember finding her the first time I felt seen the most not only on the INFP aspect but also on the music level. I lived my childhood opposite way like Aurora's but I kept expressing myself through music growing up... without sharing. Two years ago I finally came to a point where I want to share with the world, so I started to learn how to release my own music, last year I pushed myself further to start singing everywhere I go, if you have seen that video of Aurora having panic attack, that's basically me everytime with my stage fright. It is really a struggling battle, and our childhood really make a privillage of where we start our right path. My ultimate goal is not just be creatively free like Aurora, but also to collab with her, I'm setting this loud on all my social media now.

why do I think she is more like INFJ? she compared herself to Dumbledore from harry potter rather than Luna lovegood on one of her interviews, Luna is infp, and dumbledore infj. and its like what she does with music is beyond pure expression and creativity, she does it for purpose, to reach out and for her music to be helpful to people, so I think she is more Infj with this rather than infp

@@analteredaspect What is an INFP?
@analteredaspect
Ай бұрын
@@waitindelaney It is something to not take too seriously. There is a personality test called Myers Briggs, and INFP is one of the 16 personality types it breaks the world into. It's too simplistic to have any real introspective value, but, like in the case of this video, it categorises 'types' enough to be a conversation point. If you look down these comments you will see that a lot of people relate to it. Whether they are actually INFPs or not or if it means anything is irrelevant; what matters is that they can relate to that idea, and in that is a very useful tool. If you look into Myers Briggs (MBTI), don't treat it any more serious than that as an actual assessment of an individual's personality. But in terms of broad references, it is actually very useful.

I'm still around :) Covid hit me critically hard (financially, I never actually got sick) and I had a very rough time trying to keep my head above water and having no time at all to even consider anything else. Absolutely everything had to be put on hold for a couple of years of just floundering. But I'm through that now, I'm catching back up, and have been steadily reestablishing things these last 6 months. I wont make anything until I actually have something to say, but I'm starting to find space again, to go over my books again, starting to think outwardly again, and I've just come back to this again. It's good to see it's had a positive effect for people. It's all these kinds of ingredients which tend to spark some muse sooner or later. Thank you for saying.

Yeah the INFP thing was more an anchor point for the video. The concepts are universal, and I myself don't really lean much into the "types". It's counter productive to do so I think. We all serve the tribe in our unique way.

To anyone who needs this hear you are amazing and shouldnt feel any less of, because your not like aurora and she is not like you the true quality about infps is that each and every one of them is unique whether your shy and afraid to show yourself its fine you will get through it its what makes you so great. The nice thing about being an infp is that each and every one of are uniqe and have our own quirks and probably complicated qualitys (at least thats the best way i could put, sorry if it does not make sense). I just want you to know to know to not be ashamed of who you are or envy and want to be like Aurora, because think of it this way if every infp were like her or anyone then we would all be the same none of us unique and she would be just like us there would be no new creativity if everyone was the same. SO PLEASE appreciate and Love yourself 💗💝💌A note to dearest ones in need .😊

Aurora in astrological terms is an uber-Gemini, she has Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars ALL in Gemini. This accounts for all of her manifestations including her humor and freedom of expression, her connection to the natural (magical, elfin) world, her career on stages and studios working with other creatives, and her nonbinary sexuality. She's Not shy but she needs time alone in nature and daydreaming. Myers-Briggs is interesting and useful but very limited. if for example Aurora had Venus in Cancer instead of Gemini, she may have never left her forest home, because world travel and exposure wasn't easy to do but she had to, it's normal Gemini restlessness.

I remember when I was a child, like 11 or something, the only music I listened to was nirvana. I was a very lonely child so I remember thinking everybody must love Nirvana because their music sure must had the same effect on everybody. I was shocked to find out people didn’t get it at all! Mind you, I am Italian and grew up in Italy, I had no idea what the music was about but I didn’t care because for me It was all about the music. Now I am 30 and I haven’t listened to Nirvana for more than 15 years. I learned to appreciate all other genres, my tastes are completely different and refined. I don’t listen to Kurt cobain music because I’m scared of the memories of my traumatic childhood coming back 😂 but maybe I should revisit since I now can actually understand the lyrics.
@analteredaspect
Ай бұрын
Well in Nirvana's case I actually question whether Kurt himself understood the lyrics. I don't actually think that was the point for him. It was more just fitting the words into the expression. Courtney I think is the better more pointed lyricist, though I'm dyslexic so never really understood lyrics anyway. I just remember her simplicity, like in "Doll Parts" and other tracks. For me it just worked.

But now you'll learn that our 'type' has not evolved independently, but in the context of the others, and all have evolved to serve the benefits of the tribe in their own way. We are not ants. If our differences did not serve, then they would have evolved out of us long long ago. So you've always been part of a group, only this one you might simply understand a little better.

This is by far one of the best artist analysis I have looked into on KZitem. You truly brought light into who Aurora is as a person and artist while connecting that with the potential of us INFPs. Before watching this video, I had heard of Aurora before and knew a couple of songs, but I never thought to look into her as person. With the way you introduced Aurora, it made me feel as if she was an angel or divine being. But as the video goes on I begin to feel more and more connected to her and I started to see myself in her just as you did. This video gave me hope and made me realize how much potential us INFPs actually have when we choose to let go of fear and embrace ourselves to the fullest. Thank you for sharing, I feel like I have learned so much from you! ❤

Thank you for saying. I think it's as much a duty we have, a role we 'literally' evolved to fulfil within the tribal context. We are not ants, and if such individuality did not work for the species, then we simply would not have it. So therefore... we have a job to do, and many of us are not stepping up to that plate. It's not about what we embrace for ourselves, as much as it is what we have evolved to deliver in the interests of the tribe.

When i realized where you were going, i started writing very similar story.. That is, before knowing about mbti and infps, from a very early age i remember feeling this kind of reassurance each time i've seen the expressiveness of a particular personality type i was immediately drawn to (artists, characters in movies). And i remember very clearly thinking, "so people like me really do exist - people who feel and act the way i would if i wouldn't suppress my authentic being -- so maybe, just maybe, it is not inappropriate or weird to be this way in the world". And then the internet stepped in, and i realized this story happens to most, if not to all of us.

Yeah exactly. The INFP thing was more simply an anchor point for the message that applies across all. The reality is MBTI offers 16 "types". There are 8billion people to divide into that, so that's a hell of a lot of nuance. It's a starting point, as you say, and it's up to individuals to do with that what they wish.

I adored Aurora immediately after discovering her music and saw her personality and style. We're both INFPs, but I perceive her as a 'healthy' INFP, she's authentic and unapologetic yet respectful to differences in other people, etc whereas I am so full of fear and paralyzed by it throughout my life, so I aspire to be like her more. I have one INFP friend, he's also pretty much like me. We both enjoy fashion, aesthetics, arts, music, books, even topics like metaphysics and esoterica. He's also unapologeticly himself and I admire his integrity and loyalty. Very few people that I thought were supposedly closest to me have trashed me or betrayed me one way or another, he's the only one that hasn't.
