It comes with the flywoo v2.1 naked gopro kit, even though its not shown in the product photo

Hi Dahan, I have a question. Can I use this naked gopro to film weddings for many hours? Doesn't it heat? Can I put a mini USB-female to USB-male extension on the screen to have a more comfortable view? Thank you very much, I try to give other uses to this hobby I have :D
@DahanDialedIn

i haven't tested the overheating of the naked gopro, but i feel like the cooling might actually be better as a naked gopro compared to the full size. You cant use the USB for power unfortunately, it says in the manual. With a full sized gopro you can definitely power via USB and send video signal to a computer

The quality of the GoPro 12 is impressive for general events or night concerts, I was thinking of using it with Lipo 6s with a minimalist look, thank you!!!

I had the first mini and now trying to get Air3, now based on the rule I cannot fly over bystanders and the drone has to be 30 meters away horizontally from them. That’s almost impossible if I fly a longer range even in high altitude. Bystanders are people. Did I understand this correctly?
@DahanDialedIn
13 күн бұрын
Basically you cannot fly over bystanders or crowds as part of your operation. However, just as a plane would fly over neighborhoods to reach its destination, you can pass over bystanders in order to achieve your goal. Just be respectful of bystanders and crowds to not repeatedly or sustainably fly overhead

What license do I need for the DJI Mavic 3 Pro? Can I fly it in my backyard or a public park? Do I need to carry the license when I fly, and is the test open book? Edit: I realized the test is open book, so I feel less anxious. I’ve wanted a drone for a long while since I saw the presentation of the first DJI Mavic pro came out, but it was too expensive. Now that I’ve saved enough, I’m looking into the DJI Mavic 3. I’m researching the laws and preparing before I buy one. I want to learn to fly safely and legally in Ontario and Canada. P.S. Thanks for the video; it really helps with understanding the basic license requirements and what will be on the test. Also, you wouldn't happen to know if the Advance license exam is open book too? and if you have any more information about this In-person flight review and if you really need to look into a flight drone school when you can just basically learn from youtube videos and practice in your own backyard if it is big enough and mine is actually big enough.

As your first drone, just do yourself a favor and get a Mini 3/4 pro. No point in spending $3-6k on a drone that you have no real application for

You can make videos like that here in Canada if your drone is sub 250g. No need for basic exam unless your planning on flying drones over 250g. In which its harder to do shot like those because you have to follow all TC restrictions rather than 0 restrictions with sib 250g. I just got my basic for the heck of it never will get anything bigger then a mini at this point. I dont need to fly a 250g up to 55lb drone for any reason.

I would just like to point out, that the basic license only allows you to fly and capture video for recreational purposes only. The advanced drone license still has to be earned if you profit somehow from video footage, or using a drone for inspection purposes and getting paid and delivering pizzas/cargo😀

This is not true in Canada. There is no distinction between recreational and commercial flying in Canada. USA Part 107 is required for commercial flights in USA

Tell that to transport Canada and the Canadian government, and the people who get fined for up to $1000 Canadian for using their basic lic improperly and getting getting red flagged by CRA for not declaring the income from social media, or other sources. Better go back and recheck it pal.

@andrewwilliams3264 lol considering i made the video, you should assume i know the rules. I have my advanced RPAS cert and this is the first im hearing of the need for an advanced for commercial work. Care to provide a link? If you're referencing recent ammendments to the rules i'm curious to see, but i haven't seen anything about what you're saying anywhere. Please politely provide the invo you're referring to.

There are liabilities beyond what are listed by minimum requirements as dictates via transport Canada. In order to offer a commercial drone service in Canada and get paid for it legally. You need to be corporated to collect fees and taxes. To carry liability insurance as an rpas operator in Canada you are required to pass and maintain a professional level of competency which is insureable. If you wish to waiver the insurance as an operator and operate substandardly because you can’t get insurance because you only have basic and not advanced that is your problem.. The only company I am aware of that offers company insurance to legally paid drone operations in Canada right now is Magnus. Who is your insurance company? I’m curious. As far as I know they won’t insure anyone without an advanced, current, licence. If what is referred to as an accident occurs, or an occurance by transport Canada. And you are operating for profit or not you will be liable. I’m saying the basic licence to my knowledge will not get you corporate insurance in Canada. If it is found that you were liable for damages. Under the law and a flight review board you could loose your lic and be fined. Better to be insured properly insured and trained, like yourself, when doing this kind of work. I’ve been a pilot since 1988 by the way.

@@andrewwilliams3264 So you're equating recommendations for running a business to the basic requirements of an RPAS operator. An RPAS operator at any level is not required to hold insurance, be incorporated, or limited by what they can charge outside of standard canadian business / tax law. If you want to obtain large contracts such as those for government, the client will state that they require you to have insurance etc, but thats not a requirement for smaller gigs such as real estate. Of course its recommended, but absolutely not a requirement in general as stated by the RPAS laws. I suggest you read through the documents i shared in this video.

i've seen opportunities with real estate media companies, environmental research, building inspeaction, construction, and drone window cleaning. Most people are hired to film with their own equipment for a contract fee, you'll have to network and market yourself to find the best opportunities.

@@9to5sucks55 Np at all! Its a great setup man, about as compact and portable as you can get with digital FPV right now. The Protek 35 flies great, most of the time I'm just ripping freestyle without a gopro and it does quite well. Flies quite well with a full sized gopro, however don't expect to fly freestyle with a gopro, you'll need a 5" quad for that. The Tango 2 is a great controller tho, would recommend 👌
