After georeferencing, how do you export the georeferenced JPEG to a geoTIFF and maintain image size and resolution? In my experience the image resolution drop from the original 300 dpi to 96 dpi

@haavgre @rcellis6767 If you right click the layer on the content panel and go to "Data" then "Export Raster", you will be able to choose what format you want to save the raster file as. From there you will see "Tiff" format you can save it as. Hope that helped.

Thank you so much for this video! I was wondering, and I've Googled & KZitem'd for HOURS, if there's a way to add values to every row in a field only when another field is filtered? Basically, I'm trying to filter only the "Residential" value from the "Zoning" field and then add a keyword for Residential into the new field, without adding the values to every row within the "Zoning" field. There are thousands of rows so manually typing/pasting into each individual cell will take weeks. Lol

I'm having a problem where the measure tool is returning inaccurate values, do you know how I would fix this? (Example.. Measure tool says 874 meters when measuring around a 400 meter track)

It's probably an issue with your coordinate system. You might be using a Geographic coordinate system, and should find a projected coordinate system appropriate for your area. Where I am in Texas, I use NAD 1984 UTM Zone 15, or NAD 1984 State Plane Texas (We have four State plane zones). Selecting the best coordinate system will really reduce your issues with area/distance measurements.

I would love to see a buffer around a line feature, I need 450' out to the sides, and 150' out from the ends. Haven't been able to figure it out, but this was very helpful! Thanks!

Thanks for the video ! What can I do if need to work with values in differents atribute tables ? For example I need to sum numeric values to get a total, but those numeric values are in differents layers and differents atributte tables.
@naturalresourcepro8383

If you have a common attribute in both the layer's attribute tables, you can perform a "Join" to bring the tables together temporarily and complete your field calculations. Open one of the tables, and go to the table tab above. You'll see a Join option in the Relationship pane. Once you've joined their common attribute, and performed your calculate field, you can then remove the Join afterward. Let me know if this helps. There are probably a handful of alternatives.

It's possible you don't have a coordinate system designated. It won't allow you to measure without one. Go to "View" at the top of the window, and click on "Data Frame Properties". Then, click the "Coordinate System" tab, and select a coordinate system. After this, you should be able to make measurements. Hope this helps.

how to convert a image in raster which will open in arc gis pro for geoprocessing
@naturalresourcepro8383
3 жыл бұрын
It depends on the file type. GeoTIFF, JPG, PNG are some common ones that you add directly to your map and fall under raster file type (a grid of pixels). If you are working with something that is not adding directly to your map, you might look for a conversion tool/software somewhere. Adobe Acrobat Pro, for example, will convert a PDF to a JPG file type for you. I've used this before if/when someone sends me something in PDF format.

Is there any geo data , after the lightroom process.?
@naturalresourcepro8383
4 жыл бұрын
I don't believe so, no. When I brought the finished .jpg from lightroom to ArcGIS Pro, it was not georeferenced. I believe DJI images are geotagged, but I'm assuming this data is lost when Lightroom is producing the panorama image. Probably not the best software for this purpose but it seemed to work well for small projects.
