Been watching this for how many times already. And i can't get enough of how much i love Fuel, this line-up in particular. I also adore Brett Scallions's aggressive performance here, you know that certain passion and emotion he devotes in almost all of his shows. His presence is undeniably appealing. Not to mention his skillfullness as both the vocalist and rhythm guitarist. Also, am i the only one who noticed how sexy and handsome this guy is?

Carl and Brett made this band. The Drummer sucks. He can't read or write music, and can only play 4/4. A better drummer would have made these guys hit it to the top!

I’m shocked Fuel/Brett aren’t talked about more often, he has my absolute favorite voice of the genre. Love that he just goes hard every performance- long term probably a bad idea, but there’s so much emotion that is direly missing from todays awful performers.

He blew out his voice correct? From what I've heard he can't hit a lot of that original note from his original according
@stroyer2103
Жыл бұрын
There's a number of factors. He had nasal surgery due to a collision on stage back in the early 2000s, he's much older now and doesn't have the youthful chops, and he's giving it his all onstage singing with such raw emotion and rasp and his vocal cords are worn out.
@dscwac396
Жыл бұрын
@@stroyer2103 it still sounds good I've heard a couple of his more recent live performances he can do about 70 to 75% of the notes like you can hear the voice but there's some notes that he just can't hit but it still sounds good he finds a way to make it still enjoyable with his voice limitations. This song still hits hard even today

This was back when bands toured their balls off regardless of “if the singer still had vocal chords on that particular morning” before the show that night. I miss this shit.

The fact that no vocals are piped in, and three of the four guys are harmonizing perfectly is amazing. It’s real. You don’t see that today.

Bret is Lip-syncing the chorus tho. By this point he was very rarely singing live. He literally lip-synced the whole natural selection tour
@melissabarmen4918
9 ай бұрын
Brett did not lip sync that tour I saw it live numerous times. There were background vocals bc his nose was broken by Carl in rehearsals and that’s why it took them so long to tour it after recording it. I’ve seen this band almost 75 times since ‘98 and Brett sounds different now but still killer live. I saw him tour the 20yr anniversary of Sunburn 8/18/2018 in NJ and he was incredible
