All my rings are finished with CA glue It's tricky to master but had a great finish For my necklaces and earrings, I use hard wax oil

I find this method easier and also a stronger ring as there is no cross grain weak spots

I think it’s a tapered piece of wood covered in masking tape as the mandrel. I’m assuming so he can change it in between rings
