I thought that once Aggies graduate that they cannot wear their senior boots anymore. I know that the person had to give up his boots to go to war, but he is a graduate. I guess the senior boots are for him to keep and admire for his service to the country as he gave his boots away. Thanks for his service to the country. I read that Texas A & M contributed the most volunteers during the war than any other college. I notice that his senior boots were made by Vogel and not Holicks judging by the label on the box. Holicks charges close to $2,000 today for senior boots which are worn by Corps of Cadet seniors for only one year.
