The 'skipping class' strategy, would that even be for 1L? I thought those were core doctrinal classes.
@shivanidesaii
11 ай бұрын
Hello, yes it does work in 1L too. Of course, be strategic and go to every class for the first month to get a feel for your professors and their teaching style. If they are just reading from a power point slide or the book, you can definitely skip those classes and read on your own! Good luck :)

I'm doing a Masters of Economics and I'm thinking of applying to law school in October so I was wondering, would my Economics background help me in certain areas of law? Or would I be more likely to be hired by big law firms with a masters degree?
@shivanidesaii
11 ай бұрын
Hi, your Masters in Economics will definitely come in handy in certain areas of law! To answer your second question, you don’t need a masters degree to be hired by a big law firm. Although, it may help your application.
