I've watched a number of your videos and I like your riding style. Courteous and unhurried. Just my style. I'll ride with you any day.

Sounds great. Is that a Triumph bench seat and does it make much difference to the ride height and comfort?

It's the Viper seat by Motone. I find it pretty comfortable, but hard to say how it compares to stock since it was the first mod I did - it's been a while now!

As an American I refuse to call my Street 900 a “ Bonnie”… as an American that sounds too Feminine ! This is purely a Masculine motorcycle!!! I will call mine “ The Bonn”! I love it it’s an Amazing piece of Mechanical and Engineering Beauty!!! Torque! Elegance! Just enough to feel safe and have fun!!! I love my Gold Line 2022 Street” Bonn”!!!!

Did you have to do anything to get those mirrors on, or do they just clamp on the bar with no additional work?
@capitalbonnie
3 ай бұрын
The only other thing I had to do was replace the bar end cap on each side, since the stock one doesn't leave enough room for the mirror to sit in between it and the grip. The kit I got from British Customs provides the caps and everything together which was nice!

You won't regret it! No problem overtaking when I need to. You gotta push it for sure so if you're a highway speed demon maybe not the bike for you, but totally fine for my kinda riding.

Hey man! I can't take a video easily right now since the bike is being stored for winter, but the exhaust is the Motone Odin slip on exhaust. I have it installed with the optional baffles removed completely - sounds killer like that!

14:01 I have more experience with driving cars, and your not supposed to hold the clutch for long periods of time while stopped, because of clutch damage with use. Does the same hold true for motorcycle clutches as well ? Would it have been better for you to put the gear into neutral and release the clutch while waiting for the green light ?
@travisthickle4874
7 ай бұрын
This is one of the main differences actually. Motorcycle clutches are "wet" (I believe that's the term) and are designed to be engaged this way. A big part of learning to ride is learning how to ride with the clutch engaged in the friction zone, which is especially important for low speed maneuvers. Some riders to switch into neutral at lights to give their hand a break, but it's generally safer to stay in first in case you need to get moving quickly in an emergency - so clutch stays in!

Really no need to remove the catalytic converter on these Triumphs, even the stock exhaust sounds great but IMO the stock exhaust cans are a little bit too long ruining a bit the looks , these moton's sound great.

My thoughts exactly! Was pretty happy with sound already, it was the better looks + lighter weight that really drove me to swap them out. The little kid in me still wants to know what it'd sound like without the cat one day, but for now I'm very happy.
