This is one of the best videos and illustrations of paddling technique I have seen and I have seen many. You can really see how each component of the stroke (reach, bend, etc.) works to maintain a vertical blade face. Chill music is great too!

Trust me, I do this for a sport, and it is an exclusive upperbody workout, but if you do it daily, with high intensity you will get ripped, gain muscle, and have loads of fun!

What does outrigger canoeing specifically do for your fitness? I'm interested in a general workout activity that will strengthen my core, lose weight/stay trim, but not neglect legs (seems to be a upper body activity mainly)... and all the while, be fun!
