I'm so glad you restored it to the original color it looks so much better. I have a table my father gave me that I want to restore it has a black lacquer finish, but it needs to be refinished. You did a great job!

Baking soda and peroxide works wonders for smells. I had a raw peice tha smelled like cat urine and I'll be damned scrubing it a few times with that and letting that solution sit for a day got rid of the odor. ❤

@@alaskanight940 I need to upload the video about the makeover process because you will see that 1. The top veneer was so destroyed I had to fill it in with Bondo, which doesn’t take stain the same as veneer so it had to be painted, and 2. I didn’t spray it and the paint was wasn’t cheap. Thanks!

Vinegar is NOT recommended to be put on wood bc it removes any oil, varnish or stains ..( not water )
@averagebutinspired
12 күн бұрын
@@larry5948 this is why I explain that it’s mixed with water at a 50/50 ratio. Also- you wipe it on- do not saturate the wood.

I wonder how much the original wreath went for. Because i saw a beautiful wreath for the fall/autumn/thanksgiving for $120.00 and there is no way I'd pay that price and was able to dupe it for $30( and it was a big wreath needing many bunches of leaves, foliage and picks)

I’m definitely gonna try this because a lot of my pain brushes I used dedicated for vanishing glue. They always harden even after I clean them. But also adding please don’t put hot liquids in glass explodes and shadow when glass is heated up too fast or too cold way too quickly. So please just use a mug or a container that can handle hot temperatures. Don’t want anyone to get hands or burn their hands doing this.
