Recently got the HV kit and the kit says to avoid going over 131F. Were you running it over 131F for extended period of time/?
@phnomnolimits
Жыл бұрын
Never reached or passed 120F with these nylons. I finally got a peek from HV and it has been solid with temp up to 141F. I understand its not bullet proof but it is much more reliable than peek for sure.

@@phnomnolimits from the teardown I did not see any putty over the temp sensor. You must have false readings on 120F with the wind possibly cooling it.

Try to be in the lowest or biggest cog in the rear most often. Heard people who has the bbshd save their nylon gears by having proper gear ratio. Like 48t chainring and 48t cog. 1:1 ratio.
@phnomnolimits
Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the tip. I have a 48t in the front, not so much in the rear. I love the torque but prefer the speed
@dennisyoung4631

Uh, I tend to do that when my knees/legs give out. Usually 2nd from bottom gives a satisfactory pace (10-15mph) - as if I’m that tired, I’d best slow down some. Note: my chainring is 42 tooth, and the bottom gear on the cassette is 42 tooth also. I geared with the idea of bad hills and heavy (trailer-towing) loads. Pedaling tops out at about twenty mph.

I wish there was a rear rack option I can't find any that fit the flx bandit,the buzzraw or the crew city scrambler all the same style and frame basically but no rack options
@phnomnolimits
Жыл бұрын
Yeah, there are not many options for a rear rack. The next best option you might try the super73 rear platform with some mod.

The bike is rather tall due to the design and positioning of the seat. Coast cycles have 3 styles for buzzraw, and I think the buzz pro is a lil taller than the x.

How heavy is the bike? And what wattage is the motor? Thanks for the video! Ps. Would swapping in a 3000watt cyclone mid drive motor single gear, make this bike unstoppable no matter the terrain? Thank you

I have a buzzraw X with a CYC X1 motor, tested it for a moment at 4000W, going to run it at least 6000W later, my asi BAC2000 is bricked and needs reprogramming, the bike needs a proper battery (something around at least 4kwh/72V 55ah) and other stuff too.
@phnomnolimits
Жыл бұрын
@Dex, sorry I been away for a bit on some life stuff but you answer your questions, the bike is about 70+lbs with the battery and motor. Recently, i swapped the stock controller and replaced it with the asiBac855. Added a 72v battery. Now the max watt is around 3400 and it can reached top speed 48mph. The bike is a champ!

@@-joo3033 That's crazy. I was considering the bac2000 but wasnt sure if the bbshd can handle that much torque. I settled for the bac855 from HV and so far its been a blast.

@@phnomnolimits be carefull with the BAC855 around water, i know i guy who has replaced his 4 times due to water ingress and once due to bricked software (quess the software problem is only with CYC motors) , he is now waiting for cyc X6 Vesc based controller to arrive.
