I saw Randy with Motley Crue in 1999. I didn't even know he was in the band. I had been a fan of his for years so I was excited to see him play. He was great. He put his own style on the songs.

I guess this would be a replica of the kit from the Motley Crue show at Riverbend! It is too bad that he couldn't have done another albium, with Motley! I believe they played with the Scorpions that nite?

I was friends with Randy in the Wumblie years...we were close during the trauma of Jane'ts car accident. Saw him later in life when he was touring with the Offenders. He came flying over the table when he saw me. I have never seen a better showman or drummer..and his smile lit up the room. He is remembered for sure. Where can we see the movie?

I remember Randy working behind the counter at Luchetti Drum and Guitar in ABQ. I also learned from Nick Luchetti among other teachers there. I believe I was about 5 years behind Jay at Del Norte High School.

When I was a kid I snuck into the "Mudd Puddle" on San Mateo (not there anymore) and heard the Wumblies and they were amazing. A few years later I was at a jam session at Mike Booth's studio on 4th street (ABQ) and many of the great ABQ musicians were there. Randy was playing drums during a funky jam and he was so incredibly funky. Many people think of Randy as a heavy metal drummer, but he is an all-around drummer and believe me, he was into funk and R&B and could play the shit out of it.
