Have you ever ridden on a f12-x if so any big differences between the two

Jo daddy I’ve had both but the f12-x is more stable then the r12-x. I like the r12-x better because it feels so much lighter. They are both great skis and both run off the same engine platform. It all depends on what kind of ridding you are gonna be doing. If you’re gonna be doing a lot of riding with a 2nd or 3rd person on the back go with the f12x its much more stable and got a lot more storage. The r12x is great for solo riding it’s a light and nimble ski for jumping waves and doing tight carves and it’s faster then the f12x . As far as adding a 2nd rider to the back it works but you will feel a bit unstable it’s not bad but it’s not like the f12x. I hope this helps if you have anymore questions feel free to ask

Nice skis! I got an F-12X in Apollo Beach, looking for people to ride with. Send me a message and let me know the next time you guys go out. Going out to ride some waves from TS Colin this afternoon! (using my girlfriends account)

+itstina913 not sure how to send a message but add me on Instagram if you have one but it's madsmokey12 and just send me a dm. We normally ride Sunday's but I have other buddy's that ride during the week sometimes

cool deal. I'm sure you've seen my buddy out on the water. Dustin Burkhardt got a custom painted yamaha xl1200, sunburst orange with air brushed lightning bolts down the front

how do you like your ski? how long have you had it? I'm interested in getting the n/a version but was told parts are hard to find now.

+Mikey Blood I love it I've had this one for 4 months now. Gives you the handling as the old 2 strokes but the reliability with the 4 stroke engine. I've owned both the r12x and the f12x when they both came out new. The r12x is very light so it wants to stay out of the water a lot . If your gonna ride with another person a lot I recommend getting the 3 seater f12x. Parts are pretty easy to find you can still get them from Honda or jetski international. But they are very reliable engine. Clean the engine and lube everything after every ride since I ride heavy salt water. And I would recommend turbo model. It has a better resale and just a lot more power

thanks man for the info. i read alot about the turbo models having turbo issues seizing and wastgate sticking. also heard it was hit or miss with the ecu's. id like to get 3 seater model. i live in pinellas park. always out with buddies at 3 rooker and anclote.

+Mikey Blood I've haven't had any problems with the turbo either has my buddies. Just gotta keep an eye on them . But the ecu are a more concern. One of my buddies with the 3 seater f12x already had one go out. But if you end up getting one let me know and we will all ride out. We normally go on Sunday's out of Clearwater, sometimes tampa or we head up to anclote. I defiantly want to do a lake run some time too
