The sentence diagramming is just a visual tool, correct? But the grammar concept is explained first, and can then be visually interpreted through diagramming, right? What I mean is can I use this curriculum to teach the grammar concepts without using the diagramming portion? Or is it hard to separate out the diagramming verbiage from the grammar lesson? I absolutely love levels 1 & 2 and I think it’s a perfect fit for my son. I just don’t want to teach sentence diagramming. So if levels 3 & 4 teach in much the same way as levels 1 & 2 aside from the introduction of diagramming I’d love to continue with the series.

I carry a canvas tote that has two pockets on the front. One holds my phone, and the other is my glasses cleaner and cloth. I take a smaller Bible that is in a case. I put my pen in the front pocket of that. I use a lgal pad in a folio for notes. The restbis my keys, wallet, cough drops, and a pouch that holds some necessities. I try yo keep it simple and keep the weight notcro heavy.

The conundrum with a large bag is that if you fill it the way you want, it's SO heavy! Sounds like everything in your bag is practical and serves a purpose!

Tried to follow along the best I could! I soaked my diapers in the tub with Oxiclean then did a rinse cycle. Soaked them in bleach for 30 mins, rinsed and moved them back to the washer. They are now washing on warm water, high spin, heavy water. Hope these come out well!

That bag is awesome! Your bag looks more structured than the one in the KDill tutorial. What interfacing did you use? It may be the otter tech (sp?) you used for lining. It is beautiful!

How heavy are these clever fox planners the A5 size? Are they appropriate for carrying in small bag or do you keep them at home?
@mrscouts07

They're pretty substantial, definitely a tad heavier than a Leuchtrem (sp?) but a good size to put in a tote bag.

For headaches? Unfortunately, it didn't seem to make a difference. HOWEVER, it has made a drastic improvement in my breathing, sinus, and drainage. I don't get nearly as congested as I used to, and my post-nasal drip (that was managed with daily meds) went away completely.

It's a business model where you need sales + the sales of people you recruit into the business under you, in order to make money. You make a percentage of what they make-- you don't take money from them, but the company pays you a certain percentage of their earnings.

Its popcorn not rocket science. You really don't need the gimmicky turning handle thingy. I have been making popcorn on my stove top for years without the whirly pop. I use a (drum roll please) 2 quart saucepan I bought at IKEA over ten years ago. Here's how. Ingredients: 1/ cup popcorn 1/4 teaspoon salt Vegetable oil Process: 1) Into a preheated saucepan on mediumish low heat (it depends on your stove) pour enough oil to evenly coat all of the kernels in the bottom of the saucepan. Only add three unpopped kernels and leave them (and only them) until they pop. 2) Add the salt and popcorn and leave the lid just slightly off of the pan. Swirl once to coat the popcorn. 3) Leave it be. Really, just leave it be. No, don't walk away, but don't touch it either. 4) Once the popping has slowed until there is only one pop every eight seconds or so turn off the heat. Now wait a bit until the random last pops happen and pour into a really big bowl. Or you can spend $40.00 - $50.00 (or more) for a gadget you only use once every so often, but then forget about and let gather dust in the back of your cupboard.

We are working through level 1 now with my youngest 2. I just found this levels (3) teacher guide for $6! So I plan on using it next year with my kid who will be in 4th grade then. Do you add anything? Writing with Ease?

I didn't add writing or anything on top of this, level 3 was plenty for him that year. However, if I were using this for a 5th grader or older, definitely add writing.
