The thing is, if you're not actually hungry at lunch, you dont HAVE to eat lunch. Snall meals/snacks suffice. Everyone is different so would like to just understand the meaning behind " pretty much have to". No judgement here, just genuinely curious. I struggle with lunches as well.

My serenity kids pouches are expensive but are organic meats so if kids won’t eat meat, it’s worth it to give a pouch a day until they get used to it

Would you consider giving him less food? I’ve seen a few of these types of videos and always wondered why waste the food if they don’t eat it anyways? I’m not a mom yet but just learning since non eating is present in our family. Would giving him less make him eat even less? Or would it encourage him to eat it all?

Honestly girl, stop listening to the negative comments and you do you. I’m sure you will teach your son eventually with time and step by step to clean after himself but for now, let him enjoy being a kid. I feel like this generation tried so hard to make kids grow up quickly and not let them enjoy being a toddler or a baby; from being potty trained hella early, to eating by themselves hella early, like let them be a child. They will learn with time and through example, until then, sit back and enjoy them being a kid because it’s gonna pass hellaaaaa fast

Feeding therapist???? This is where we are as a society? Feeding therapy when I was younger- eat it or starve. And guess what - much less “picky” eaters. You coddle your child and give in to whatever they want, they’ll be picky

Just an idea for you… I made a shadow box with my babies footprints and hospital stuff so it hangs on her wall in her room like a picture It has her newborn onesie with her name on it that someone made us, her hospital blanket and hat, umbilical clip, ultrasound photo, her weight and length at birth, time she was born, my positive test when we found out. Her foot prints I put in her baby book.

My 1st was/is like that with food. Sorry to say he is still super picky. But he use to throw up as a toddler for each food he was introduced to, even the norms. So he's improved a lot. He eats more than a lot of other picky kids in my family. I stopped making special meals for him. He eats what we do and it's a battle every time of course. But that's just the way it is. I will separate and give in like that but I don't give him "approved" foods and make him try things. They're just normal things. He wouldn't even eat fruit as a toddler. I haven't gotten to veggies. I try to sneak them in but he somehow always notices. He's 6 and it's still a struggle, but so much better than 2. My 2nd eats literally everything including salads and always has. It's nothing the parent has done...I see so many things online about parents being at fault with it. But my 2nd kid eats everything so clearly that's not the case.
