I read R[31]=PC+8 instead of R[31]=PC+4 in the MIPS reference Data did you make a mistake or it's me misunderstanding something ?

Hustler Nature basically the reference data is referring to the PC before you implement the jump and I'm referring to the PC after the jump (next PC). Maybe I should have used nPC instead of just PC, but if you listen to my explanation you'll notice that. Thank you so much for bringing that up! Good luck!

Oh ok i get it now yeah maybe you can add just a little rectangle when you wrote that to specify it's nPC or PC* like most books do because some people are more visual they gonna hear your explanation but they might catch just PC+4 instead of PC*+4. Thanks a lot !

what if there were 2 register by adding them we get address to which we need jump to how can that happen ???

First off, make sure to watch the video first...I'll give you a hint ...it's a mix of jr and add function....instead of extending a line from the read data 1 to the mux ...we extend a line from the ALU output to the mux... I hope that helps !

yes, it helped thanks i have another question like i have lwm rt, address This instruction uses I format and operates as the address is sign extended to make a 32-bit address of a location in data memory. The contents of this location are then copied to the register rt. so rt is destination register so is it the 3rd 2nd or 1st one and how address is sign extended to make 32 bit?
